Pick-up time was 6:20 Friday evening....he shows up at 7:50. He just decided to go elsewhere and show up whenever...

Daughter called him at 7:00..he went home afterwork instead picking them up..and lied to her (he'd been good lately) about the pickup time...(sound familiar Dawn)....

He even asked my daughter when she called at 7:00 "ARe you Mad??!!"

He knew he was irresponsible and was pissing us all off?!!

miserable.

I am a step parent to 2 boys 13 and 9. When I first met my husband of 2 years now I thought that I would be able to handle it. The boys are also from different mothers. So there are 2 ex wives involved. Now that we have our own children 15 months and 3 months things have just gotten to complicated. I feel such strong resentments against his other kids that it is totally consuming me. I am this horrible person that I don't even know. I feel selfish and I am angry all the time.

Clothes issue with teenage skids particularly girls

My SD and I have an on again off again relationship depending on whether she gets what she wants or not or whether BM fills her head with crap. I've always taken her shopping something BM does rarely because it seems to be a common interest for both of us. Over this past year I have bought her numerous clothes, some expensive, some not but all very fashionable trendy items which she loves to wear. The problem started when she decided that she'd wear all the stuff we buy her to her mom's and then replenish at our house when we next go shopping. This does not fly with me.

Does anyone have an ex husband that introduces the children to new girls often?

I am getting concerned about this? Should I be? My 2 boys have been introduced to 3 or 4 girl friends since end of August. two of them he took away with on weekends with the boys, and another one they were going to her cottage after he got back from going away with one of the other ones....I don't understand why he is doing this. Our boys are 10 and 6.

Holidays

A friend of mine sent me this today & it made me laugh. She was working on a project and was asking a writer friend for a positive, warm fuzzy definition of holidays & this is what she got.

holidays -- that time of year when you spend money you don't have, on people you don't like, for stuff that they will never use.

What does this mean?

We receieved a letter in the mail today from our lawyer and since we have not been to court yet to settle child support issues because my sd just moved back with her mom the letter is stating that they want temporary child support how can they ask for this if they dont know what our income is?Could they ask for an amount that we just cant afford so if we have to do this do we have to put all of our expenses aside and pay this amount until we come in front of a judge. Also my husband is a subcontracter so his income varies all the time how does this work?

Youngest SD's wedding is 8 months away...so she is heavy into the planning stages...

SO far her Mom is not placing any demands on her, or being difficult, which is what we all (SD included) expected.

BUT the oldest SD is being horrible!!!!

SD fell in love with this beautiful wedding dress....
oldest SD tell says "I hate that dress!" ....

All the other bridesmaids picked out a really nice shade of blue for their dresses....
oldest SD says "I'm not wearing that shade of blue!"....."I'll make me look fat"

Bio Mom Always there.....

Hello, just wondering if anyone has any issues with BM being intrusive. When Skids are over she has to call at least once sometimes 2,3 times to speak to them(SS15,SD10)then they have to call her to say good-night or whatever...sometime i hear the conversation when they don't go hide...it's like a play by play of what's happening in our home. This woman is so jealous(vendictive/rude etc..) This has being going on for 6yrs,how do you guys handle this??? I'ts even so bad that she shows up at my door to talk to kids drop stuff off b/c kids asked for eg.
