Well, have just finished a whole weekend with SS staying with us, and generally went OK, apart from a few little annoyances...
It's his 10th birthday in a couple of weeks, and BM has arranged his birthday party for a weekend we're supposed to have him (to include a sleepover at her house). She also told him that both his dad & I would be coming along in the afternoon when they go bowling, without asking either of us!
Every time I sit down to write this, I feel a deep exhaustion, and more fear than usual of "what could be".
OK here I go.
Last night my partner of two years walked out due to angry ongoing arguments that go round and round in circles.
My frustration with the court system has grown to an entire different level. I have no where else to vent, so sorry in advance!!

I have known you forever. You were one of the young women I was supposed to mentor. You are one of my best friends little sisters. You used to run to me with questions about boys, or religion.
I should have known we would have problems when you would call when me and DH were first dating, and try to tell me he was saying stuff he wasn't. You caused soo many fights then. A girl of 16, calling her sister's 18 year old friend causing shit. You drove my insecure younger self crazy, and we broke up.
Dear BM:
1. You are 5'2" and weigh somewhere near 200 pounds...when I met you 10 years ago, you were probably closer to 130. Please take off the transformers movie t-shirt...you are almost 40 years old and you look stupid!!
2. I realize that your 15 yo daughter is a pain in the ass...i think so too. But, never in a million years would i say "you are a bitch" to a 15 year old girl. I can't believe you say that about your daughter. You have no class.
On Thursday the 8th of October my DH is going to a trial to fight for sole custody of his 3 year old daughter. I have had to step out of helping him organize things for this trial because it was just way too much for me to deal with. He plans things in a different way then I do. I am not a procrastinator and he is. But he does always seem to have things finished in time, so I stepped out and just let him go with it.
