I'll start with in high school I played field hockey, indoor and outdoor track. My ex boyfriends mom was a physical therapist... so I'm not a complete f'n moron when it comes to muscles.
SD is NOT an athlete. She tries (kind of but she isn't competitive ) really just isn't. She started playing lacrosse again last year (10th grade) and she hasn't played since she was 9. She played rec basketball 5th-7th grade.
My Brother's FIL lost his wife, my SIL's SM, about a year ago. Today he posted a sad but sweet birthday wish for her and thanking her for the best years of his life. This man has been married 3 or so times and has multiple ex BMs and sets of kids. My SIL is the youngest and was just one of a harem of adult mini wives.
One of his daughter's commented under his sad birthday post to his DECEASED WIFE "I love you daddy! I know SM is smiling on you and loving you. She's with BM and celebrating the love they share for you, your kids and family"
It's been a joy I must confess not having SD here for the amount of months that she refused her visitation. No drama , other then the drama MIL tries to bring in the house after talking to BM and SD14. This Easter is a long weekend with the kids having off Friday and Monday, I had a gut feeling that BM would try to get SD to come on a long weekend, it's not DH weekend. We have plans to go to my sisters house on Saturday to do a Easter egg hunt for the little kids ( my Bio son will be with his dad ) . Well SD texted DH asking if she could come for Easter, siggghhhhhh!
So, no messages from SD17 Powersulk about packages.

Spoke with Husband and he agrees - no she doesnt get the tattoo starter kit until shes 18, and he will explain why.
I had previously had a few more convos with SH Cousin who put the fear into me, so now I understand more about the risks. Unclean needles, unlean gun, inclean anything leads to infection and possible diseases.
Trust that she will do the right thing? hahahah.
So as you may recall my sociopathic manager "fired" me with no explanation no warning .... nothing.
Just casually strolled to my desk logged in and saw a blank ass calendar.
When I asked her she played dumb and stopped responding to my text.
DH received the dreaded football email from BM tonight. Exactly what I said a few blog posts ago would happen, happened. In her email, BM outlined that she has spoken with the coach and other parents with kids who have played junior high football and there will likely be optional Sunday practices. She highlighted that while they are optional, they will likely impact SS' position and team (A team versus B team) based on his "commitment" to football during those optional practices.
I feel so sorry for DH.
Recap: SD is not speaking with DH, for reasons unknown other than something to do with Auntie's passing two years ago. SS does speak with DH, but on his terms. Hasn't come to visit us in 10 years. All travel is on us. DH has developed serious health issues, and neither skid acknowledges that.
DH is having surgery next week. It's a common surgery but with his fragile health it is a little scary. DH texted both kids. Neither have responded or called after several days.
If anyone has experienced this let me know I am not alone.
I have a SD9 and SS11 and they lie. CONSTANTLY. So the trust for me is gone. The respect I have for them is gone. Has anyone ever trusted skids again? How did you get the trust back??
I posted a few weeks ago about my toxic job. As background, I loved my job until last Fall. I thought I was going to stay there for years. I had a great relationship with my manager, had a great relationship with my team, and felt content in the day-to-day. Well, I was "promoted" last September. I use air quotes because it was only a $1,500 raise, but double the workload was added to my plate. I didn't want this promotion, but couldn't I turn it down without losing my job. It was a "company restructuring effort."
