So we have never had luck with school pictures in past years. I don't know why I thought this year would be any different. BM leaves us a message the night before picture day at 9:30 pm when she knows we were on vacation. Needless to say we didn't get to order them. I notified the teacher and told her to let us know when retakes where. SD closed her eyes so she was going to have to take them anyway. The teacher was great and sent us the package order form. I mailed a check to the school and somehow they didn't get it on picture day. Go figure!
I'm 35 years old..... but I'll never forget the day I met my mom. I was given up for adoption.... my BM could not keep me, and was adopted by my father and his first wife. It became clear to me when I was about 4 , that she did not want me either.....my little sister was born, and her marrage with my father was breaking up. "Mother" took all her anger out on me, she was terribly abusive.... needless to say I went to go live with my father, then later so did my sister. Then my father met Nancy....my mom.
Is this really true, legally? She is 14 and we have sole custody with no unsupervised visitation by BM.
I am 21 and have a 38 year old live in boyfriend, who i have been with a year. we are 4 months pregnant, and im beginning to panic a little bit. he has a 4 year old daughter, who is beautiful and smart and he completely adores her. we have just gotten to where she is able to come stay with us. she is really competative with me, and im not sure what to do. when she is around it seems like im not allowed to have emotions. im not yet used to having to share him.
Sooo... My DH informs me last night that his kids are having a pagent on Tues. I say.. great, I will put in for some vaca time to go. DH says.. oh.. you dont have a lot of vaca time... no need, I will go alone. He was very persistant that I do not go.
I DONT want him sitting w/her and her family because I dont want anyone to THINK they are a family.. and I dont want the skids to think that I didnt want to go.. I already think they are turning against me (they are only 9).

BB told BF that she will not sign the divorce papers. She told him this after she asked when we were going to get married. So know she is not going to sign the papers. She said that she was going to get her a lawyer so that she can get half of his retirement. They have been separated just as long as they have been married. I just want to beat the f*&k out of her. I told him the skids can't come down today b/c if BB is the one dropping them off I am going to go to jail tonight. I have never met someone who is so selfish, mean spirited, and as stupid as she is.

I know it might be a little early to start thinking about this b/c SD is only 7, but I am concerned and need a little advice.
I'm sure most of you have heard of or seen the commercials for the HPV vaccination called "Gaurdasil." According to what I've seen/read a girl as young as 9 up til 26 years old can get the vaccination. My SD will turn 9 in less than two years. Should DH & I have SD get this vaccination? Does anyone have any personal experience with this vaccine or issue?
So BF went and saw his lawyer today and she's going to draw up papers that either we get him fulltime(please god no cause it will only mean more psycho drama from BM), OR BM takes him fulltime...she's also drawing up something that should hopefully make her have to answer for collecting food stamps AND the child support while SS was in BF's care fulltime...so we're hoping THIS works..all we really want is an answer to why she ripped people off while this was going on...
SD15 has been with BM since the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Although I was apprehensively thankful for this turn of events, it made me anxious that she could just as quickly re-appear as she did the last time.
