She laughed in my face

SS is a newly minted 5 year-old and really a good kid. Last night, he wanted to call his mom after 9 p.m. and, "Tell her I love her and to bring my light sabers." I said he could talk to her but that it was too late for her to come over so don't ask her to bring them. He started to argue and I told him three more times not to ask her to bring them over. He said OK but tried to go upstairs to talk to her once I gave him the phone. I told him to stay down here, so he snuck behind the couch. I KNEW I should have gotten him out of there or at least found out what he was saying to her.

A B***h will always be a B***h....

So on father's day I call BM to ask if SS had gotten a gift for his dad, BM never picks up her cel phone when I call so I left a message to call me back. Does she call back??? NO. I'm so irritated by her childish actions. I wanted to know so I can get a gift from ss if she didn't. I know she got my message but she wasn't courteous enought to return my call. I told my husband about it and he said nothing. Just shows you that a bitch will always be a bitch! Being nice to me in front of me is all full of shit! UGHHH!

Hello everyone! Boy have things been crazy around here. My mom had her surgery on the 14th and thankfully, she is doing well. We have had such great support from the family. I will miss every one when they are gone.
It also worked out that all of the kids are gone this week too. My bd is visiting her dad in Tennessee and my s-kids are with their mom for the week. One week of complete peace!! I am so enjoying it.

Nothing big, just need to write a little

It has been so nice not having to deal with SD except on a limited basis. She comes over a couple of times a week, stays for a few hours and then leaves. She occasionally talks to me while she is there and I don't really go out of my way to talk to her, but everyone seems to be ok with that arrangement. A friend of ours pointed out that, while she truly is not a pleasant person to be around, he believes that she simply is unaware that she treats people badly. For example, she came over for her dad's birthday, sat beside me on the couch, but kept her back to me for almost an hour.

Is she bitter? How do you get someone to compromise- need advice?

From EW BM to DH....what do you think of this? I have no idea what to do. The only thing that prompted this email were DF sending her an email suggesting an alternative co-parenting program offered by his health plan for $100 vs the program she wants to go to which is $175 per hour every week for 12 plus sessions. We pay over $980 per month for one child with 50% custody and $1800 per month spousal support. Who has what money? Definately not us.

First --- I'm soooooo happy to find this site! It's good to know that I'm not the only one dealing with a psycho from some other world. I've been reading through many of your entries (all so good, BTW). Is there somewhere on this site the describes all the abbreviations that are being used (DH, SD, BF (boyfriend?), etc). That would be so helpful in reading/writing.

Again, so happy to find you all!!!

has anyone found success through dh/bb counseling???

lmdavi0's picture

ok, so let's say the judge says 'dh, you HAVE to attend counseling with bb.' has anyone found this to be successful? after YEARS of bickering and lying?? i'm just trying to comprehend how three or four sessions with a counselor are going to clear up all the resentment, hatred, jealousy, etc., from bb, enough to ensure a healthy, open relationship for the next 8 years (til sd is 18). if the judge is going to say 'no your wife can't communicate with bb, you have to, dh.' what can we do to eliminate the drama???? at least when i am talking to her, i don't get emotionally involved...
