This week was the 2 month anniversary of the breakup. Still no contact and not looking to see what he's up to. I'm no longer tempted to peek at his ridiculous dating profile.

DD30 starts her new job on Monday. She's been making the most of her last week of joblessness.

I had a nice 4-day weekend and went on a road trip with a good friend. We just meandered down to North Carolina to go to a brewery with a naughty name in honor of my dear friend who died 2 years ago in December. Said friend's birthday is this coming Sunday, so she's on my mind.

We had such a blast.

It's been almost 7 weeks since the breakup with zero communication. I also stopped looking at XBF's dating profile nearly a month ago (tomorrow).

It's been a rough week. Maybe it's menopause - not sure - but I've been pretty weepy and blue this week.

I hate it that I had a spell of missing my XBF. I used ALL the techniques to remind myself why I walked away. Logically, it all makes sense. Emotionally, I guess I was just going through a phase of missing his presence and all of the good things. I've shaken it off and today is a better day.

Still waiting until the 27th to find out if my daughter is going to be offered the job she's worked so hard interviewing for. Keep crossing those fingers.

Today, on my way to the big city, I stopped by my attorney's office to sign off on a new medical power of attorney and advanced directive to remove my XBF and add my DS33. My DD30 was already listed, so it was just a quick swap. Best $50 I've spent all year!!

Sunday will be a month since we broke up and it's getting better every day. I'm looking forward to the days when I don't think about him at all.
