A new day and a new hope....
I know it sounds sappy and a little like a Star Wars movie quote but it's how I feel.

I know it sounds sappy and a little like a Star Wars movie quote but it's how I feel.
My SD is a sneaky little liar. We have repetedly told her NO DRESSES TO SCHOOL IN WINTER!!! It is cold out. But what does she do? She sneaks her dress out of the house in her backpack, AGAIN, and changes at school.I figured the last time she got caught and grounded she would clue in...but NO!
I've had it. I don't know what to do. We constantly catch her in lies.
She's like a pi**ed off dog that pees on the floor when your gone. If she doesn't get something she goes and does something to make us mad.
Our rules don't matter. The punishments don't matter.
I think I got the best gift any stepmom could ask for......well OK, maybe only ME. My SD16 is a ***ch, and from previous posts, you can see what I mean. The other day I posted about her moving in with BM. Well..... it's gonna happen....YIPEE, Yeah for me. I GET MY LIFE BACK!!!! I can FINALLY raise my boys in some peace. The stupid self serving BM decided on a settlement for CS and it isnt going to cost as much as we thought.....
My Valentine's Day has already started out right - My fiance went outside to get one of my gifts from the car. On the first step he slipped and landed in a snowbank. He put his hand out to stop his fall and was up to his shoulders in snow. He said that some guy was walking on the sidewalk directly in front of the house when he bit it and laughed! Well, as soon as I saw him all snow covered just trying to get a present for me, I laughed too. Then he showed me where he fell - there are 5 perfect finger holes in the snow. That is the best start to any Valentine's Day I have ever had.
How do all of you feel about DH/BF/FH going over to BMs house alone to see the kids?
So we're having the fSKIDS for 5 days and I am already feeling down. It's just little small things that make me upset. Anyway, to get to the point, we're getting ready to eat dinner, BF and fSS are down stairs already and I was left with fSD upstairs because she was still watching a movie. So I tell her that she can watch the movie down stairs and she starts a small tantrum like she sometimes does with me and BF and starts saying stuff like "No!", "I don't have to listen", "Leave me alone", "I don't like you" but tonight it was different.
Does a BM have the right to just show up at your house whenever she feels like it? I really think it's rude that she assumes just cause her kids live here she can just show up without asking me or DH. But what do I know?
I am always amazed at the new ways that BM continues to show her childishness and to the levels she will stoop to play her mind games with her own children.
I thought I would just post my letter so all could read it..if you wanna cut and paste go ahead...I have to give credit to another stepmom on a board for noncustodial parents who wrote some of it and I pasted it into mine...enjoy and beware it's LONGGGGG!

Re: Child Support Reform and Non-Custodial Parents Rights
Dear Senator Dorgan,
My skids BM is just like herpes....Not life threatening or anything, just a real pain in the arse. She has flare ups and only medication and a little TLC can calm her down.
Life can be going just great and then for no good reason BAM....a flare up. Like herpes.....her "flare ups" are embarassing, unpredictable, ugly, contagious, and usually short lived. In my mind this whole situation is a sexually transmitted disease.
Anyways, I'm in a mood today and thought I'd share. }:)
