If/when this goes to court SO and I think it would be best to have a neutral party represent SD, isn't that was a GAL is? Does anyone know anything about this or how to go about getting one?

So mediation was a joke, 4 hours of absolute nonsense in which neither SO or BM realized that the mediator is just there to make sure they don't kill each other, the mediator was NOT a referee, they have NOTHING to do with the court process, can not make reccomendations, ect.

Anyway, they tentatively agreed to a new schedule that SO came up with (its the dumbest schedule I've ever seen, and why BM would agree to this since its SOOOO confusing and way more inconvenenent than our current schedule...but anyway..)

As some of you remember, my mother passed back in March, I was the last one to find out, her ex husband tried to cut me out completely (note: TRIED). I had to find out from the estate lawyer OVER THE PHONE.

Anyway, I stepped up, signed the executor papers as her next of kin and have been BUSTING ASS for over a month now sorting out her estate, getting things sold, paying off her debts...its a HUGE job.

SD3 has been acting up all day yesterday and today, whenever SO and I would tell her to do something she was back to just standing there staring blankly or she would throw a fit. Well SO just told her to stop pushing her crayons in the heat register and she FREAKED out. So SO just walked away after taking away her crayons.

I watched her and she went and sat on her floor and buried herself under her blanket and she was doing that silent sob thing like the world was ending.
