On the topic of vacations...another question to those w/Skids and Bios

Ok since we're bringing up vacations-I know I've heard of some bad experiences on this board about doing this..>BUT has anyone done this and it didn't end in disaster?

Ok scenario, if I take MY bios w/my bf and I on vacation and we don't invite the SD...is that a good idea?

First off, we aren't married yet. Second, him and I BOTH know that a vacation w/all of them would be extremely stressful for us as the three of them together are like a time bomb-yet when it's just him and I and my boys we do fine.

O/T Hair coloring question...need help.

Hey girls, does anyone know about temporary or semi-permanent hair colors and how well they work?

I'm getting a wild hair up my butt lol-and have always wanted to try darker hair but do not want a permanent dye.

Thing is I did the permanent dye once-my hair is a light brown/dark blonde..and I went burgundy -it looked fabulous but I hated waiting for it to grow out-it was a nightmare.

Can we vote for an IGNORE feature on the board?

OK-it's obvious there are posters who can't get along-I include myself. It goes beyond disagreement to outright bullying and harrasing.
We've all seen it if we are honest.
SO-I guess this question is for the Admins more-is it possible to add an ignore feature?

I know other boards have it and it seems to work very well. That way we don't have to even SEE what someone is saying about us or to us,...if we are lucky enough to have a mutual ignore then we wouldn't see eachothers blogs or posts at all.

Have you been 'walked in on' before?

Ughhhh...I guess this unfortunate incident is bound to happen in some families-but so far I've never had it happen-until this wknd. And it was HIS D-not my kids (they were with their dad). Luckily we were pretty covered up but I'm sure it was obvious.

First of all she was not in the house-she was outside playing w/one of the neighbors-we decided to have an afternoon romp..second the door was closed-but the lock was apparently only halfway locked and had not fully clicked- (after we finally invested in getting our door lock fixed).

So what can be done w/deadbeat BM

Ok-so I've been logging the BS she's pulled...and apparently the bf's parents have also.

Since November 15th-that is in the last 60 something days-the bf has had his D 38 days/nights...we also know of at least now 6 overnights at other peoples houses (friends from school, her parents, etc) there could be more. Not to mention I'm sure there are a few days and random afternoon hrs I've forgotten to log about.

Dealing with deadbeat BM's.....

Oh my gosh I want to scream!! Vent session ahead! SO...bitch who is OFF on Monday, tells the bf Sunday that the girl needs to stay w/him since school is out. THat she has to go stay at her dads that night to get to work. Here in the south we rarely get bad weather but we got dumped with ice and snow-been like this since Sunday. No school, no banks open, most roads are horrible... BUT AGAIN she pulls her shit. SHe hasn't been to work still and she just dumped her D who she has custody of of course and a full paycheck.
