I Lost it at the Lawyer's Office
I had typed all this up yesterday and for some reason, my computer decided to eat it before posting. So here I go again.
I am not sure where to begin, as I am still in the process of trying to gather what bits and pieces of my sanity that I lost last week.

Rutherford is Haunting my House!

SS is being a dick. He's really angry at DW. He came out for supper, had a couple of bites of his meal and went straight back into his bedroom and shut the door. That's the most I have seen of him since he got back.
When DW and I went to bed she was crying. Doing this really hurts her but I held her and told her to stay strong and that she is doing the right thing. SS has only to blame himself now.
And then we slept.

Donkeykong's Priorities
It was a bit awkward, sitting right next to DW and Donkeykong (yes, I sat in between them) listening to the teacher explain to us what SS’s behavior is like in class.
Every once in a while, I looked over at DW and Donkeykong. Both were as downcast as Sicilian nuns at a funeral. I don’t blame either of them. Here they are sitting in close proximity to each other for the first time in years listening to teachers explain how their bright tall bundle of joy is “not so bright” after all.

Anybody Wants Some Leftover Turkey?
I was annoyed at first, but now I cannot help but laugh.
DW had this grand idea in her head to host a Thanksgiving Dinner. My folks are out of town so they're out. DW's folks are stuck babbysitting DW's-sister's kids. Sis and her hubby went on vacation (funny how these people always go on vacation WITHOUT their kids). After the camping trip, I told DW that I don't want to see those kids again, unless they undergo shock-therapy treatment, but hey, they are still family and who was I to say no to family.

Drac0's Reign of Terror
Yes, I am still mad. No, I didn’t kill anybody.
I deserve a cookie.
Last thing I wrote in my last blog entry was that I confiscated the laptop, all the iPads, the power cord to the xbox, and I killed the circuit breaker to the TV. Unfortunately, I completely forgot about the PS2 that SS has stored in his room.
So guess what SS did all day Friday?

SS wants to become a computer engineer.
*cue the laughter*
DW told me this when I gave her a little heads-up yesterday on what my reaction will be when SS's report card comes in at the end of the week. I want to prepare her in advance because some of the things I am going to say is not going to be pretty, but I am going to say it anyways.
She needs to hear it.
DW said that there is no reason for me to come down hard on anybody because she is confident this report card will be glowing. In her opinion, SS has become much more "studious" ever since he told her that he wants to become a computer engineer.

Flu Shot
I may have mentioned it before, but our family doctor actually is a good friend of the family. This year, as a favor to all her friends (and to reduce the wait times in her waiting room) she told me to bring my kids to her clinic on Saturday to get their flu shots. This is good news for us because this week and next week is extraordinarily busy for us (which is why STalk may be seeing less of me in the next couple of weeks).
I tell DW this - and right away - her first question is, "but how do we get SS to get his flu shot? He's at his Dad's!"

The Mystery of the Sponge Bob Alarm Clock
SS went through a “Sponge Bob” phase where he had to have any and all Sponge Bob memerobilia out there; Sponge Bob towel, Sponge Bob plate, Sponge Bob flashlight, etc.
Fortunately, SS grew out of it eventually.
Unfortunately, the last Sponge Bob treasure he has caused nuclear explosion in the morning hours of Friday last week.
This “treasure” is a Sponge Bob Alarm Clock – and it has proven to be as mysterious and as horrific as that puzzle lock from from “Hell Raiser” movies – for when it goes off, it emits a sound that is surely awakening demons from the abyss.
