Greetings and salutations Steptalkers!

A little Thursday update:

1. Husband is now completely off the job he has held over 20 years. The shop closed, but there was 30 years of stuff to clean and get rid of - posters, tools, etc. Guess where some of that ended up???? Two of the mechanics remained (husband and nephew) and cleaned and cleared and the buzzards descended to scoop up the valuable items, before husband could get to it. That severance husband was expecting materialised, but was way lower than he was hoping, at aprox 2 weeks pay.

Ive re-read my previous blogs, as well as the comments. But I need to suck on some sour grapes for a small bit, before moving on...

Husbands last day at work was yesterday. They are cleaning out 30 years of tools and STUFF. Some of which Husband thinks is useful or that he can liquidate quickly. He still hasnt seen what his "severance" is and hes getting last check today (?)

SO, as we were unwinding from our day, Husband mentions that Toxic Troll is now settling her "head case".

So, after my call with Sweet Sharon about Cunning Connies Facebook post, I stopped by her house after work, to give a hug and read the reports and just give a shoulder.

She cried and was shaking. Having gone through and read the reports and the love letters begging for more chances, the pictures.

She told her stories of abuse and escape. She was reliving it all. Mostly she was afraid of how it was going to affect her daughter.

Prologue: 

This story takes place in the filming location for Big Little Lies. And it somewhat accurately reflects the drama that takes place here. Except the opening scene directionally is wrong.

Chapter 1: The beginning

I have a woman friend, newish, older, retired. Sweet. Bought a house after retirement, a sweet beach cottage with two large palm trees in the front standing like sentries and in front is an endless field. Peaceful.

Ok I know I am being a blog post hawg.

Just got an email telling "parents of" SD16.5 Power Sulk that a long list of books needs to be returned or total fines will be owed.

$391!

Karma? Or Schaudenfraud? Or both?

When I mentioned it all he could say was "oh sh!t!"

Rubbing my hands together, evil smile on my face, maniacle cackle eminating...

And Im getting emotionally ready for concert tonight after work.

Revelations...aka Where the Scary Things Are

SO. Im going to put myself out there...

Husband is afraid of SD16.5 Power Sulks Math teacher! He got the call last week (of course did not tell me), and she wants a parent teacher conference. Ok, so no wonder PS has been out of school "sick", and avoiding coming to our house...I KNEW something was up. Oh she has to stay home because she didnt get enough sleep the night before, etc. Oh she forgot some stuff...nope she knows shes in trouble and her go-to is avoidance.

Sorry folks. I think the more I complain, the more clear things are becoming, thanks to all of you commenting.

I need to come clean.

The cleaning isnt the Real Thing bothering me.

Husband is losing his job in April, and April is fast approaching. Too fast. We talked it over, and he wants to take a month off. There is another job waiting for him, with benefits and retirement and more pay. But, because hes been working so hard for so long (hes only lazy in parenting and husbanding apparently) he needs a break.
