MIL, I am so sorry SS feels he should move up a grade early. The poor boy seems intent on lying and fudging the truth so people will like him. I am sure if he applies himself and work REALLY hard and does extra work we can certainly look at that for next year. Maybe he lies because he feels his relatives will not accept him just the way he is ... a little bit of a slow learner. I would prefer to call it a late bloomer.

I was JUST leaving work and got a phone call. SS19 was in the drive thru and Starbucks and wanted to know what I wanted as he would drive it over to work for me as a treat. WTH did he needs bailing out of THIS time? ... Apparently nothing. I told him I was on my way out the door and I got home and there was my green tea frapp. and my $10 starbucks giftcard for Mothers Day.

Tonight my OSS21 called by to get some duct tape. We were chatting outside and I mentioned I am still concerned with him still smoking with his father's family of cardiac and lung issues and would love for him to try and give it up. I suggested Nicorette patches and he said his mother still covers him on her insurance and she had suggested it as well. I said he should take her up on it.
