Anyone else feel this way?
I don't know if it is the post Thanksgiving visit reflection or other life happenings but I've been feeling very much like family or the idea of family is being diminished and disregarded more and more every year by society as a whole.
People seem quicker and quicker to write others off even if they are family, which I realize in some instances is good if there are major toxic issues, but I'm talking more about trivial, inconvenient make no effort for family as if it isn't important, type incidents.

CS and Graduation
A fellow SM I work with is wondering if her husband will pay an entire extra month of CS for his 19 year old son due to his graduation date being the 3rd of June.
She said the school district ends school for the Seniors a week or two before the rest of the school and the ceremony happens to fall on the 3rd of June despite them being done, all items turned in (chromebooks, library books, etc) a week or two earlier.
I assume they will have to pay for all of June, but told her I'd ask the experts that maybe have had real life experience.

I'm having a Clove moment (I mean that in a good way)
I've disengaged with SS (long distance so much easier than for a lot of you).
Pity Party for one
I'm having a pity party and that never happens so bear with me.
Karma is such BS.
These horrible folks get away with horrible things over and over and over.
DH's ex just won a substantial amount of money (not the billionaire powerball LOL) but like $20k.
She's a greedy money hungry evil human and wins in life all the time. I'm so over waiting for this supposed BUS to back the F over her.
Ok now that is off my chest...I'll carry on with grace.

We survived a week in double ex wifeville
A wedding and a graduation. Done and Done. Both ex wife encounters were decent.
The rehearsal was the worst part with the OG ex wife. Not sure if she drank or someone had a talk with her but the wedding went way better! Her whole family spoke to my DH and were friendly. His estranged daughter was there with her two kids he's never met. He said hello she said hello but that was it. She kept her distance. She didn't even talk to her younger sibling s my DH youngest two kids. That was sad.

Rehearsal was a mini $hitshow
Well we had our first encounter with the OG ex wife #1 for eldest SD wedding this upcoming weekend.
She was a half hour late. When SD called she almost didn't come stating her dress was ready and needed to be picked up and she had forgotten about the rehearsal. Also she wasn't going to dinner after (oh darn).

Two BMS - One Week
Sorry to double post back to back -
As a PSA when you marry a guy with two ex's with kids be warned.....life has a way of making jokes.
Not only do I get to see the OG EXWife, I get to see the Mega High Conflict one too, all in one week.
Wedding for eldest, promotion ceremony for youngest - in a 4 day spread.
Who's the luckiest StepTalker of the month? *wacko*

Upcoming Nuptials
I normally come here regarding DH younger set of kids.
Today is different, he also has two older children (different BM) UGH I know. I'm just venting I suppose.
Anyhow for a little background, Eldest SD is getting married soon. He has been divorced from her mother for 30 years. Her sister and DH have been estranged for about 10 years and although he has attempted to reach several times, remain estranged.

Speaking of CS
I'm I the only weirdo that has played around with a spreadsheet and done calculations "If CS doesn't increase/change, we pay this much per month x however many months/years" come to the lump sum and then make mini goal/celebrations around them. For example "we are under $30k, after the June payment". Ha ha Ha.
Anything to help chip away the time left obligated and attached to HCBM.
