Hello everyone! Boy have things been crazy around here. My mom had her surgery on the 14th and thankfully, she is doing well. We have had such great support from the family. I will miss every one when they are gone.
It also worked out that all of the kids are gone this week too. My bd is visiting her dad in Tennessee and my s-kids are with their mom for the week. One week of complete peace!! I am so enjoying it.

Why is it that things can be going along okay then something simple happens that makes you feel completely lost and alone?

I was at a client's home on Sunday. Very nice people, however, they have just gone through a divorce and are selling their home. And wouldn't you know it they were a step couple. Anyway, I had met a staging professional at their home to give some suggestions on how to best show their property.

I am very content today. Yesterday was such a super day. We ended up with all of the kids. Bm went out to town to visit bf. I was a little apprehensive about how sd was going to act, but she ended up being okay. My ss-7 surprised me and put a mylar balloon (it said I love you) in my closet. It was his, left over from Valentines day, and he gave it to me(so cute)! My Dh had flowers and a card signed from the kids and a cd from my favorite band. Then we went to breakfast with my mom, mil and her husband, my Dh and all of the kids. Breakfast was nice. No major incedents and everyone behaved.
