So, I will be 33 next month. I do want to have kids and would like my first before I turn 35.

SD(s2b6) is an only child, and the only grandchild. So, she's used to being the only one 'doted on'.

FH's little brother recently announced that he and his partner are having a baby. SD didn't really react. We told her that Daddy was going to be an uncle as well and that there was going to be another baby in the family. She really wans't impressed. Didn't really say anything, but didn't like the idea of Daddy being an Uncle.

Okay…so now for the ‘real’ blog! (Loooong!)

My SD5 (s2b6) is the most well-behaved delightful child for EVERYONE except her mother. Honestly, this kid is an angel in school, in daycare, at guest’s houses, and at our house. I have never heard her raise her voice (except for laughing) nor has she ever told me no. She is helpful around the house, picks up after herself and is an all around ‘wonder-child’.

I wanted to say that I really appreciate everyone's warm welcome to my post yesterday. It's always a 'hold your breath' situation when you kind of lay yourself out there, but all I received was compassion and understanding, which was a big relief.

To be honest, even if people firmly disagree with my back story I would still be open to their feedback. Not on what they might think of me, but with what I deal with within this new family that I love.

Anyway, I feel that my situation is a little unique; as everyone does I'm sure.

First of all, this is my first post, but I've been on here for a long time reading all of your stories...kinda creepy as I feel like I 'know' a lot of you due to my excessive procrastination at work and pouring over your wonderful blogs.
