i can't even blame my current state of mind on the skids.

so BM sends a message to DH telling him to have Dakota back off of ss18 and his college financing. she is taking him to a BANK to get a loan and she will forward all information to answer my questions. I"m confusing him by talking to him about stuff.
there's more but that's the gist.
she's so dumb. i'm talking to him because it needs to be done and she's missing the whole point!!!

note to self - Disengage Dakota, just disengage.....life was easier when you didnt care.....

ss17 and i had a good conversation while DH and ss15 were gone last night. we talked about college planning and how things were going with his mom and just general things to get him talking. he opens up to me much better than to his dad - he says that he sees me more as someone he can confide in better than a parent because i have left all teh parenting issues to his dad and i dont judge him. i take this as a compliament i guess... he proeeds to ask me if his dad will ever grow up.

this is how BM starts her phone call to DH. he looks at me and says "this should be good".
Why can't she start off polite like "we need to discuss the financial issue with ss17 going to college"
i knew from how the phone call started Dh would not be paying attention.
i havent had many dealings with this woman, but money is a real motivator for her.
