Munchkin SD12 having frequent meltdowns - its been a long summer
So, if you are familiar with my situation, I have 2 skids, one who has moved out and one who is 12 and in full-on preteen mode. Currently I am unemployed, so it falls on me to do daily childcare as the Toxic High Conflict BM has chosen to work summer school (she works with autistic children and has a choice). She doesnt fill anyne in about her schedule, simply drops Munchkin off at around 6 ish, after a text to him. She stays with me all day, and then either stays or goes, depending on the scedule - we have 5 days on and 5 days off.
The Hurricane is now calmer....update to Blown away, again
This morning, after a sleepless night spent chewing on things, SO and I do our morning wake up routine - coffee in bed. Munchkin has awoken after being dropped off, and walks by, sais good morning and comes in our bedroom and .... sees the looks on our faces. Stops and hesitates. SO decided to approach her using the direct route, with me there. He first asked her what happened last night with her mother. She sais "nothing", he asks her what she said to her mother, she sais "nothing". Swears to it, very earnestly. Scrunches her face the way she does.
Blown Away, again.
Wow, just wow.
So, to begin with, today really I effed up. I sent a text meant ONLY for SO to his daughter Munchkin SD12 by accident, and she showed her mother, immediately after I dropped her off for the evening. In the text I called her mother a Golden Uterus (she acts very entitled). She has no idea what that meant, or I dont even know. Its easy to google it and figure it out.

Blown Away
Im simply flabbergasted and blown away. Its like "how did I get here, was there a hurricane? Did the Bodysnatchers finaly arrive and invade my SO and his daughter, Munchkin SD12?"
For a time I thought we were all on the same page, together. But no, the keel was not as even as I thought it to be - one shove its now spinning out of control. And Im freaking blown away. I want to cry, I want to shout, I am silent because I do not even know what to do.

Need advice! This sux...
So, as Munchkin has been advancing towards her teen years, things have gotten more out of whack, after a brief semi-normal period.
I need advice as to how I should approach things. I dont want to push anyone away, and I dont want to be disrespected. I dont know if I am making too much of a little thing, or if my feelings are vidicated. Such a tough line!

Memorial Weekend, and Fishing SO * Update to self-absorbed tween

SO went fishing and took Munchkin STB12 with him and she caught a VERY large fish, we went to BBQ and had a great time, and CLove had her own personal time most of the weekend. To read, ponder, hang with dog = whatever!
Two-Fer. Please Advise. SD12 is self-absorbed - is this natural?
My life in Step He!! has been long and arduous, but short compared to many here. SD19, she lives a few towns over, we never see or hear from her but apparently she is living with her manager at work, has been traveling and is enrolled in classes at a JR college. Whoot.
O/T Its the Little Things...celebrating 3 years 11 months in stephe!!
My first post in the new site. Just a quick rundown: I live with my SO, and he has 2 daughters, SD19 and SD12. I have been with him for almost 4 years in July, and its been SUCH a rough road. Anyone familiar with my previous posts knows and relates. When I met SO, he was still trying to "Get the BM out of the house, because she was still coming over and hanging out", and they were still going out places together (like a couple). I was basiclly "doing my own thing", but we would go dancing together, concerts, and happy hours.
LIVID - Step and Fetch it - TBM asking SO for things now that boyfriend is gone
GRRR. I have been chewing on this all day. While raking leaves (its fall come lately here), cleaning the fish pond, pulling grass and weeds, cleaning the bunny cage.
This morning, while SO and I were enjoying our morning coffee before a day of bathroom remodel, Beastie texts and asks to use his truck, she wants to purchase a large wooden entertainment center. As in LARGE> all caps. He texts back, no thats too large. She asks him "well can't you come over and just measure for me?"
