I Can See the Other Shoe Starting to Drop
I posted on another blog about SP PTSD and how you can never feel safe. Skid issue are never really ever over. They just hibernate. My SD and her issues have been hibernating for the past nearly 3 years. We have had zero, zilch, nada in terms of contact with SD or BM in 3 years. It has been awesome! We moved and built a brand new house. Neither BM or SD know where it is (unless MIL has told them). Life and career have been very good for the past few years and the lifestyle and marriage reflect that.

O/T need a good reply
You folks are good when it comes to thinking up the best way to respond to difficult situations. I need help on the perfect reply.
Quick stories is a former co-worker who spend 3 years making my life miserable, sabatoging my work product and discouraging others from hiring me has apparently, 5 years later, decided to mend her ways. My star was and still is rising and her's wasn't and isn't, I've gone onto bigger and better things, have built a solid network in the same field.

O/T question about teenage boys
I'm wondering if this is normal teenage boy behavior. Our backyard neighbor has 2 teenage boys. We live on a slope with our house being on the high side. Due to the line up of the houses on the slope, the bedroom window of one of the boys is very visable from several windows, our deck and our backyard. This is particularly the case when it is dark outside and the bedroom light is on. We are also in a new development, so none of the trees or bushes are very tall yet. The back door neighbors happen to be the daughter/son in law and grandkids of A now-retired former co-worker of DH's.

The interesting things you find out on facebook
I don't post very often anymore so here is a quick recap for those that don't know my story. SDxtb21 dropped out of HS to move in with her much older druggie boyfriend. BM and SD made life difficult for many many years, but when she dropped out and moved in with BF, DH had a final talk with her and basically said I don't approve of the drugs and choices you are making, I will always love you, but don't condone this behavior and I'm not supporting it.

Any updates from just.his.wife?
I've been checking for update on from just.his.wife on what happened after BM instigated the audit at her office. I haven't seen anything in a week or so. I'm hoping everything thing turned out ok, especially since she has the awesome fellow Step Talker boss. I'm also hoping BM ends up in jail again for this fraud!

Crayon/Aurour & Elizabeth?
Anyone heard from these folks? Seems like we've gone most of the summer without an update on Elizabeth's move and I can't help but wonder is Crayon/Aurour (I can't remember exactly what the new name was) made her exit plan from Godsgift.
I don't post much now that SD19 has stopped all contact, but I'm a faithful reader and wondered what had happened to these gals.

So what do you think she wants?
Here are the background bullet points. 18.5SD dropped out of high school to move in with her much older BF last year.(we had EOW, not custody). Lots of drug use by SD and her BF. BF operates a head shop in nearby city and specializes in making "pipes" and bongs.. No drivers license. No job. Very, very limited contact with DH from ages 15 to present. After last minute communication christmas eve, SD and loser BF came to Christmas at MIL's, came high, no presents for anyone, since SD didn't communicate till last minute, limited presents given to her. No contact with DH since Christmas.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop
I haven't seen SD18 since Christmas Day 2010, so I haven't posted much, but I do read here often. The long and short story is we have had very limited contact with SD since age 15 because we had rules and insisted on good grades. Those things didn't apply at BM's house and SD was already running with a rough crowd and so we only saw her for Christmas and her birthday for several years (so she could get presents, she would never attend anyone else's party). Shortly after turning 18 this year, she dropped out of high school and moved in with her boyfriend.

Graduation??
SD18 "should" be graduating from high school today at 3:00 pm. However we haven't heard from her since she turned 18 a month ago and turned down DH's b-day party offer saying she was going to "Cali" and would be back " sometime this summer". From my Facebook snooping I know she is indeed in CA with her 25 year old boyfriend. I think we can now confirm high school drop out status. Any takers on how long it will take her to realize what a huge mistake dropping out of high school was? 10 years, 5, never? She has confirmed DH's worst fears and become BM.
