So they made gay marriage legal. Your thoughts? I guess I am not for gay marriage but not really against it. There are to many things going in in this country right now, gay marriage is not even a blip on my radar. As I saw on facebook..let them be miserable with the rest of us. lol

It does disturb me that the supreme court over ruled the states. That is just a reflection of what is to come.

Spin off to how are your parents and what kind of childhood did you have.

Now answer honestly. When your skid gets to be the age YOU are NOW.....What do you think skid will say about you, your spouse and his mother?

I think SS will say his childhood was good. I think he will still think BM was a perfect mother...DH was a "fun" dad. And I was just in the background of his childhood. Neither bad nor good.

What nerve. Do your skids do this?

So SS came to visit for about a week. He spent some time here and time with BM. (about 2 hour drive apart)

BM and DH were going to meet half way to let SS come back with DH. They meet about 15 minutes away from a boardwalk. (restaurants, games, rides, aquariums ect. on the water).

We normally get Christmas Eve and Christmas day off, but this year they gave us a choice of having off Christmas Eve or the Friday after Christmas.

I think everyone went with being off on Friday. The down side is that everyone else is closed today so we are super slow. I am soooo bored. I could probably clean up my office and catch up on filing and some reports. But I just can't make myself do it.

So is anyone making anything special for tonights festivities? I am making Enchilada Dip. It is so good!

Lets say that the ebola virus ends up being a pretty big deal here in the US and extreme measures have to be taken...

Are you prepared? What if your state has to go on lock down for 21 days? Would your house be in order? Could you survive at home for at least 21 days without being able to leave and no one could come help you?

Would you have enough food? Water? Medications? Home protection for if it gets really bad? Anything else I am forgetting?

What would you do and how would you do it?

Your thoughts? What is going on with these guys?

Do you think Adrian Peterson crossed the line between discipline and abuse? I certainly do. And I was a child that got the switch a few times. But all it did was sting a little. NEVER left a mark and I was certainly not abused, but my parents knew how to use discipline without actually abusing us. This man has no business having kids much less as many as he has.

OT - Garden

I think there was a blog similar to this a few weeks ago, but I did not get to read it all and I can't remember who posted it so I am going to revisit it.

My garden is about done for this season. I did great on the bush beans and cucumbers. My corn and peas and okra did not make it at all.

Are any of you going to do a winter garden? I think I am. I have never done one before so I am going to try. I am going to plant spinach, lettuce, bush beans, and some bell pepper.
