BM is obsessed with me!
No joke. She copies everything I do. I start wearing rhinestone sunglasses, so did she. I start wearing skater shoes, so did she. I cut my long hair super short... SO DID SHE! If that doesn't convince you, she starts shopping at my work which is 20 min from her house. My store is a little one and she's got a walmart right around the corner. She started using the special nickname we use for SD after I used it on FB. (it's not a nickname that you come up with randomly) Speaking of FB, she calls or texts me or DH after EVERY SINGLE post or change I do on there! DH says I'm her homepage.

Just venting here so my hubby doesn't have to hear about it. LOL
We have everything SD5 needs at our house. BM constantly tries to send half her house over to ours. Well who's the one to keep track of all BMs stuff? ME! If one thing gets forgotten, she throws a fit about how much it cost and blah blah blah. STOP SENDING YOUR STUFF! All we need is SD and the clothes on her back. Now we have had many socks and such go missing at BMs house but we just tell her when you find it send it back, we don't send anything that would devastate us when it's lost.
Not gonna communicate with BM!
On SD weeks I've been having to see BM EVERY day at the school. I don't know about you, but it bothers me to have to stand so close to someone I truly hate. I also realized that I'm become some sort of approved method of communication for BM and DH. It's just become easier for BM to say give this to (DH) for me, or DH to say ask (BM) about this when you see her. I know it may seem like I'm the logical choice since I'm there everyday, but, again, I truly hate this woman, and I literally have a bad day when I have to communicate with her. So I told DH I'm there to pick up SD and that's it!

Whaaaaa???
BM is being very cooperative lately... Did I miss the flying pigs? Someone tell me the temperature in hell right now, maybe they're having a cold day? Or perhaps I simply stumbled into the Twilight Zone. But maybe just MAAAAYBEEEE she simply doesn't feel the need to make our lives harder! No matter why her change of heart, I ain't gonna ask her about it! We'll just nod our heads and smile.

Changing exchange days?
So who here has 50/50 week/on week off custody? What are the exchange times/days and why are the times/days good or bad? We currently do exchanges of SD at 6pm Sun, but don't think it is the greatest setup. Now that SD is in school, basically it's a rush to feed her dinner and get her bathed and ready for bed. (We get up at 6am to get ready for school.) Also there's the fact that no one parent really gets a full weekend with her. We're thinking either the parent getting SD picks her up after school Fri or Mon.

Does anyone else have to see BM EVERYDAY??
I do. Ok maybe not every single day, but every day on our weeks. (we have 50/50 week on/week off) BM is always there after school because she has another child that goes there, and of course she waits for SD to get out so she can see her. I totally understand that, I'd want to take every moment I could to see my child, but I just don't know how to deal with seeing her EVERYDAY! When we got along it was fine, we could stand there and chat, but right now I can't stand her and it drives me crazy having to play nice! I'm somewhat mad at DH because I have to see her everyday and he doesn't!

Where's MY shirt??
I was out shopping for clothes for SD when I came across all your typical i love mommy i love daddy my auntie rocks my grandpa loves me shirts. It made me wonder where's all the my stepmom loves me or i love my stepdad shirts? There has to be a step parent out there who has realized there's some money to be made here! Until I find out where those shirts are hiding, SD and I will be making shirts for each other this weekend! No decision yet on whether I'll send her to BM house in it.

I wanna hear your stories!
Does anyone else do subtle little things to piss off BM? I know for the most part we just want them to leave us alone, but a part of me can't help wanting to pay her back for all the crap she's given me! Today I let her believe DH bought me a brand new car! Lol It was actually a rental because our 10 year old car was in the shop, but she didn't have to know that. The look of shock and horror on her face when I pulled up to her house in it was PRICELESS!!

Just talking, no worries. :)
We have every other week custody of SD, which I LOVE because i LOVE SD. But unfortunately I (not hubby!) have to see BM EVERYDAY during the week, b/c she has another kid that goes to the same school as SD. So everyday after school I have to put on my smiley face (not to mention look presentable, even on my bad days!) and stand next to BM while she tries to make small talk (comPLETEly forgetting she sent me that f_you text the night before!) and wait for the class to be released.

Mother's friend lol
I took my SD to a neurologist appt a few weeks ago and BM met us up there. Even though BM and I do NOT get along, we are very well at playing nice in front of SD. Anyways the Dr. asks all sorts of questions about history and types it up. When we get the mailed copy of the report that was sent to the pediatrician, I'm reading the report to make sure it's accurate. Imagine how I felt to read "patient is brought in today accompanied by her mother and mother's friend." MOTHER'S FRIEND?? Geez I get NO recognition! LOL!! At least I know how believable our friendly act is! LMAO!
