We have every other week custody of SD, which I LOVE because i LOVE SD. But unfortunately I (not hubby!) have to see BM EVERYDAY during the week, b/c she has another kid that goes to the same school as SD. So everyday after school I have to put on my smiley face (not to mention look presentable, even on my bad days!) and stand next to BM while she tries to make small talk (comPLETEly forgetting she sent me that f_you text the night before!) and wait for the class to be released. (At this school kindergarteners are not allowed to be picked up curbside, I can't WAIT til she's in a higher grade so I'll never have to see BM!) There is a pot of gold at the end of the ugly rainbow, b/c after school lets out everyday SD goes racing right past BM to give me a hug! I must say I know she will never love me more than BM, but that feels pretty damn good! That is all. Biggrin

My SD's go to the same school as my Bd, they are 1st graders. SD's used to run up and hug me and talk and they are just so sweet. But that all stopped in the last month or so becuz big sister SD's tell Wacjob mom and mom says not to do that cuz that means you love her more than me and yak yak yak, Its sad too, cuz even at 6 the twin SDs will hug me and chat when sisters or moms not around........ Its sad that they get it.......

Ugh I'm sorry. Fortunately my SD's BM doesn't really try to sabatoge our relationship anymore, but she DOES talk about our fights in front of her kids. (one time her son came up to me and asked why we were fighting! I never see her son so I know I didn't say anything!) I don't think she does it on purpose really, because she's just the type of person who just talks too much. (one day she starting telling me what "santa" was bringing for Christmas in front of SD!) Anyways, I think the effect it had on SD is she knows she loves me and she wants to show her mom so maybe she won't talk bad about me anymore. SD is very smart for a 5yo!
