Mother's friend lol
I took my SD to a neurologist appt a few weeks ago and BM met us up there. Even though BM and I do NOT get along, we are very well at playing nice in front of SD. Anyways the Dr. asks all sorts of questions about history and types it up. When we get the mailed copy of the report that was sent to the pediatrician, I'm reading the report to make sure it's accurate. Imagine how I felt to read "patient is brought in today accompanied by her mother and mother's friend." MOTHER'S FRIEND?? Geez I get NO recognition! LOL!! At least I know how believable our friendly act is! LMAO!

Well, even funnier is prob bm's reaction to the same report!
I actually was feeling giddy
I actually was feeling giddy inside thinking of her jaw dropping to the floor when her copy arrived! Is that wrong?
Amen to that!!!!
Amen to that!!!!
Did he think you were
Did he think you were lesbians? Just a thought! lmao
I see our society still refuses to acknowledge stepmothers. Ugh!!!
LOL - that's where my mind
LOL - that's where my mind went too.
I can't believe the therapist didn't ask who you were or who the mother was...that seems odd to me, just to ASSUME that was the relationship. I'm sure the questions might've been a little different had he known you were the SM.
Interesting.
Well as soon as the doctor
Well as soon as the doctor walked in the office BM had to jump up saying "I'M THE MOM!" So I don't think there was any confusion there! She's always terrified that someone will think I'M the mom! THE HORROR!!!
LMAO!
LMAO!
Funny because if that
Funny because if that happened to me I'D be the one saying SHE is the mom!
