Ever just feel that way?

I can say I care about my SS10, but half the time all he does is annoy me. He comes over and all he does is lay up on the couch and sulk in his phone. Does acknowledge anyone else in my home goes straight to couch, then phone. In the car for pick up, gets in say hi very low and straight on a phone. He looks like crap half the time wearing the same clothes almost two days in a row.

Recap of SS10 bday party from this past Saturday. All seemed well, we made (keyword made) SS10 stay outside for his party, I mean after all it's his birthday party why would he want to be inside when he has all these guest here for him, right? Wrong, SS wanted to be inside and glued to a phone. I for one can stand it and want to throw his phone across the room anytime he's on it. This time it's not happening, I grabbed his phone and told him his father wants him outside and there won't be any phones for you to use all day! Of course he huffed and puffed, but I don't care.

Well, it's SS9 birthday this Saturday and guess what good ole DH is getting him for his bday....? A god damn Go Kart!!! I already seen how much it cost (1100.00) normally I don't care, but he seems to think this is coming from our joint savings for his gift!!

This is where the fun begins-

DH: "I'm" getting SS a go kart this Friday for his birthday party Saturday.

Me: Oh Wow! That's a huge gift, was it the one you been looking at for 1100.00. 
 

DH: yeah. I think he'll like it.

Did SS9 just go outside to play basketball?!?? OMG! It's a miracle, there is life outside of a cellphone!

I laugh every time DH is at work and on the days we have SS and I'm home. I don't mind SS staying here, although I wish he take him with but whatever. Anytime DH calls to say hi or see how we are he always ask how's SS9 and what is he doing. My response every time is "what do you think he's doing?" DH "he's on his phone...?" Uh yeah! From the time he wakes up and to the time he goes to bed he's glued to it.

Why does my DH think I want to spend time with them??!? I spend all day with them and when I get my alone time he feels when he puts a movie on I want to spend time with them. It not like it's a movie aI like, it's a movie SS9 likes, therefore I don't need to be apart of it.  I mean SS never gives a shit about what we watch, therefore why should I be apart of this?! 
 

it's not my "visitation " it's his!!! I have been done and gone about SS visitation. It's no longer my entertainment and issues. He needs to be a father and parent. I'm done trying with SS!!

Our work has picked up since the pandemic. DH and I own a business and majority of it is exterior. Therefore we work long hours together and or separately. Given that he still has SS9 every other day and every other weekend. I've gotten to the point that I have taken back my authority in my home and with that being said SS9 no longer has this adult status, as he seemed to think he had before! Sooooo, anytime SS9 makes a mess, leaves his clothes anywhere, can't pick up after himself, and or etc.... guess who hears it? That's right DH. I'm beyond done talking to a spoiled and enabled child.

Well, it's been awhile since I posted. But nevertheless- DH is back home. This weekend was SS10 weekend with us, given that I swear to god my SS10 is a walking pig pen. No lie, this child can manage to make a mess of everything. He can't eat without missing the plate, give him a napkin and even turns that into a mess everywhere. Lol. I mean everything this kid touches turns into a mess. Like no lie! I swear I can give him a cookie with a napkin, and there is cookie everywhere.. like did any of it make it into your mouth?

So my SS9 has his room in our basement, mind you it's a beautiful fully finished basement with a fireplace, kitchenette and full size bathroom. It's not a "dungeon", it's huge, but I just woke up (3am here) and heard him still on his play station. I told him it's time for bed, I thought he didn't here me and continued playing, so I said it again "time for bed it's 3am". With an attitude "I know I'm saying goodbye to my friends".
