Ha! Just reclaimed my living room!

I am so done.

SD12(stb 13) Always takes over my cosy, wood fire warmed, large screen TV, with cable living room. Sprawls her lazy arse on MY sofa, covers herself in MY throw.

While I find somewhere else in the house to be. Feel uncomfortable and awkward in MY home. And the kids living room sits empty.

Well no more.

After all the manipulative behaviour, the lies, the sneakiness, and the mini wife behaviour I have had enough.

NOT TAKING IT ANYMORE!!!!

Why do I feel bad about this?

OH just texted me and asked if SD12 could borrow my bunny costume to wear to a party.

I said no.

I made that bunny suit (it's white with pink trim) from scratch, no pattern etc, a few years ago for a Halloween party, and well, God-dammit it's mine.

I don't want SD wearing it to a party and spilling food all down it (I MAY have mentioned in the past what a slob she is) - she will undoubtedly ruin it.

So why do I feel the need to defend myself for just saying NO. Why do I feel the need to offer an apology and an explanation?

Some background...

Last year MD fell on our W/E, OH tried and tried to make arrangements for her to have them for part if not all but no dice from BM. We had them ALL day, they were miserable little snots, my kids and I felt uncomfortable and couldn't do the "normal" stuff - breakfast in bed etc, felt awkward celebrating it with them there - you know?

OH just texted me. SD12 just talked to him, apparently BM is working Mother's day night (if that makes sense LOL) so they will NOT be going home early as I requested, they will in fact be staying the f(*cking night.

So, no time at all with me and my kids, no dinner out, not a freaking second of the day is going to be what *I* want.

He promised me the evening, a meal out just us without the snotty brats, because she refused to take them early (Sat night) So, no breakfast, no lunch, and now no f*cking dinner.

I am SOOOOOO pissed off right now.

Oh joy, BM has graciously said we can keep the skids for Mothers day...

God I am soooooo annoyed.

We had them last year - it was OH's w/e and he offered to take them back early - Sat night - so they could spend the day with her but she said NO.

So we spent a fabulous day with the skids moping and mine feeling odd about being with me and unable to spoil me - no breakfast in bed, cooked freaking lunch for everyone. Just great.

This year - again it's OH's w/e. I TOLD him to make sure they were with her this year, he said "yes, I know - they don't want to be with me on mothers day, they want to spend it with their Mum."

BM's best friend got a tour of MY house...

So, Lets start with - BM is a control freak nutso.

When OH left her she banned all their mutual friends from talking to him.

One couple, the guy was his friend, the lady one of her BF's. He guy rang my OH to chat about the separation and see how he was doing (this couple were both divorced previously) BM found out and flipped her lid. So OH hasn't spoken to either of these people for about 3 years.

They rang him last week (the guy did) as he has something he wants to sell us, I wasn't all that into it, but OH wants it so we decided to get it.

Ok, so I haven't raised this with OH as I just didn't want the fight.

But I think I have to. I think I should have handled it differently at the time, but you don't sometimes do you...

Tea last night. I serve it up, pour gravy on those who want it, sd, dd10 and ss9 carry theirs to the table, I take mine, dd7's and OH's.

Only SD, dd7 myself and OH had gravy.
