So annoyed

Left out mama's picture

I don't know what my problem is. my SD10 is annoying the life out of me. She constantly has to ask stupid questions... "what does that mean?" Is like every other thing out of her mouth.
She has been such a complete ditz lately. This morning I asked her if she needed to use the bathroom before I jumped in the shower. She responded... "I don't brush my teeth until after breakfast" I told her "no, I'm asking if you need to go to the bathroom" response "I can't brush my teeth until after I eat"

social situaitons

OK So I am looking for some feedback.

MY SD 10 is an extrovert and loves being around people.

However, I am concrened about her social skills. I am worried in trying to be the "star" or the social butterfly she is alienating herself.

She loves to be the center of attention and is not afraid to do something weird to be the center of attention.

Birthday drama

Just a quick vent...

my SD9 has a birthday comming up in a couple of days. And oh my diva!
every year around her birthday her behavior gets out of control. She gets a massive attitude and really pushes the limits.

ladt night she reached a new high and actually screamed at her dad. Not just talked back, but screamed like a banshee to the point we could not understand a word she said.

needless to say her father was pissed. But he dealt with it in what I believe an appropriate manner.

Should I be concerned?

My SO and I both work full time. So my SD9 does the remote learning at her grams. The school has set up a really good remote learning program. (Hoping schools will be open full time for in school learning by the winter term, but we have to wait and see)There are several zoom meetings and lesson plans each day, so all is going well with that...

Growing up

So my sd9 is emotionally immature... she is closer to 6 than 9. I am not saying this to sound mean or judgmental, or critical. This is just the reality, and quite frankly understandable. (Although to be 100% honest can be very frustrating at times).

Oh the stall tactics!

Okay so since we have all had either knowledge of or direct experience with homeschooling...

what are some of the best / worst stall tactics or excuses to not focus on school work that you have encountered?

with my sd9 the face palm moment of the week was when her dad told her to start her assignment where she was required to write a paragraph about something. He went into the the shower... came out and she she was not done because she decided she was gonna type out her paragraph using only her toes.

im dying to hear what other parents have experienced.
