Oh the stall tactics!

Okay so since we have all had either knowledge of or direct experience with homeschooling...

what are some of the best / worst stall tactics or excuses to not focus on school work that you have encountered?

with my sd9 the face palm moment of the week was when her dad told her to start her assignment where she was required to write a paragraph about something. He went into the the shower... came out and she she was not done because she decided she was gonna type out her paragraph using only her toes.

im dying to hear what other parents have experienced.

Today SD walked away from her live class meeting at 9 AM to ask if she could have some M and Ms.*dash1*

SS once told BM he left an important assignment at our house (he didn't) and BM couldn't get in touch with DH, so she called MY PARENTS to try to find me to see if I had a key. (this was before we were married). Still have no idea how they got their phone number. 
 

And I'm sure SS didn't do the assignment. He did very few of them.

Meth Mouth showed up at our hose one time with Spawn claiming she had left her homework at our house. I told her no she had not that it was probably in Spawn's backpack and closed the door. Meth Mouth had a fit and started calling/texting DH that his C*nt of a wife just slammed the door on Spawn and she was calling the cops on me for child abuse. (note this was before we ever even got custody of Spawn).

DH told her that the homework was in Spawn's backpack to which she freaked out on him that it wasn't. When DH talked to Spawn about it later she admitted she left her homework at school and told Meth Mouth it was at our house.

They cancelled today....--I made bio show me the email from teacher, turned out to be true lol
