Just got a text from DH. School Resource officer just called him.

BM just tried signing two of the kids out of school. SRO at the high school already called the middle school SRO to warn him she is likely on her way there. Bad thing is you know these kids are communicating with her, as they were in the office waiting for her to sign them out.

I always used to "wish" that something would happen where DH got his kids full time, so they actually had a chance of making something of themselves. I am sure many of you have wished the same thing. Problem is when that something happens, the kids are pissed at YOU and your DH and it is all your fault, not theirs, not their BM's etc.

DH got his kids. Their discharge/ release process is interesting. Court officer is there as is a social worker. I got to sit in the waiting room since I was was the complaining party. DH entered each of his kids into a first time offenders program. He figured that would teach the kids their lesson, without anything going on their record. He did not want them let off scott free. More afraid if only he punished them they would not understand that society and the law says what they did was wrong!
