Can we pass a law banning divorced men with children from "thinking"? Please??

I love my DH I truly due. He is kind, gentle, romantic, a good lover and my best friend.

He is also an IDIOT!!!

BM and SD18 are in jail. Will remain in jail because BM's family has finally come to the realization that bailing these two out of their problems only a) costs the family money they do not get back and b) enables/encourages these two's behaviors.

Medical Bills

Earlier this morning I saw a post about medical bills for someone who was not insured. Can not find the post now, but an idea for those on the board who themselves or (s)kids are uninsured or underinsured.

If you dont have insurance and have to take kids/ yourself to the doctor there are two things you can do to lower your costs.

BM and SD18 arrested

Both for violation of probation/ community control for SD.
Secondary charge of violating the restraining order that they.never.got.modified.
And it is BM's fault they both got arrested!

DH did get a direct deposit from the state to the tune of $6200+ of the $6500 BM's original bail. He immediately cut me a check for half of it! Saying I had been supporting the kids with my salary and it was only fair.

BM is out!

Which means her $6500.00 bail was paid, $6k of which is back child support!! On one hand I am tickled, about time she started paying for her kids. On the other hand:

DAMMIT! Now she is out and likley going to start crap again!

DH and I had discussed days ago, IF we got the payment from her, we were taking the kids on a REAL vacation. They are too old for Disney and per DH "I am NOT going back to being a Disney Dad, ain't happening". So we decided on taking the kids on a cruise during the summer if certain criteria are met.

Just pulled up the local jai inmate search, input BM's name and voila! She has a new profile picture for Facebook she can use! (Really at the rate she gets arrested and cries she also needs to invest is a GOOD waterproof mascara! The raccoon eyes are just so not sexy then again, that bright orange outfit isnt doing her any favors either!)

She was arrested yesterday for "Failure to support" and still in custody! Bond is $6500.00! 6k I know is what she is behind in CS. Looks like the state/county is charging her $500.00 to have to deal with her.

Payback, the legal b*tch slap.

Hmm seems BM already HAS a warrent for her arrest. Failure to pay child support. Imagine that. Nifty, but I also told DOR where she could be found (her parents address).

Then I called her Probation officer again, advising him she has a warrent for failure to support.

Seems she will be picked up today/ tomorrow. Her "bail" is the $1500.00 a month for June, July, August, September. So, she can get out of jail if someone pays the 6 grand she is behind in CS.

Phone and Electric continued.

7pm last night a police officer shows up at our door. (Note: not the county sheriff department that we have been dealing with, the city police department- and our home is not within their juristiction.) Wellfare check on the kids, that mother showed him a court order that she is to have reasonable access by phone and our phone is turned off.

Someone please remind me that I am the bigger person here

Because I am about to forget that I am and go completely and utterly psycho on this twit.

DH called me at 11. Wanting to know if I realized the electric was off at the house. So I call my local electric company and supposedly "I" called up this morning and put a cancel order in for immediate termination of the account.

So BM got out of jail on Friday afternoon.

Saturday morning sd18 "disappeared" from BIL house and took all her crap with her.

Last night DCFS came knocking on mine and DH's door that they had two reports of abuse.

We literally had to stop a game of Monopoly with the skids to deal with the investigator. (Not really complaining there, oss was kicking my butt on that game!).

It was alleged that:

We had no food in the house. (disproved.)

The children did not have beds or clothing (disproved)
