One week

Well SD has been gone one whole week!!! We have heard nothing from her at all - she has made no attempt to contact her father. We actually got in there and cleaned her room and painted it over the weekend and my husband calls it the new guest room - I was a little nervous about it at first but he seems to be handling it very well and has been involved in fixing up the room.

Total disrespect!!!

Well SD came home from school Monday and loaded up the rest of her stuff. Her BF and his friend came and got her dresser. She hasn't spoke to me in 2 weeks. When her dad got home she told him she was done with her finals and had to go to school the next day to turn in books. She left and he came inside. So I asked him if he knew she was packing up and leaving. He said no. So yesterday I asked if he had heard from her and he said no.

Is she addicted?

So SD17 drinks NyQuil like crazy. We had to start hiding it so she got her boyfriend to buy her some. The bottle was gone in less than a week. I asked where she got it and she said he got it for her. I said after we took it away and told you that you can't have NyQuil. She attitudingly said ya. Her dad was there and never said a word! Then last weekend a went in her room to fetch something of mine and I see one of my pain pills on her nightstand. I tell her dad and nothing is said. Yesterday I went in her room to get my computer and saw pills on the nightstand so I looked them up.

Why is it always my fault????

Been with my husband for 3 1/2 years - married for almost one. Step daughter will be 18 in March. She lives with us all the time. No real relationship with her mom. At first things were pretty good but I don't know what has happened. There has always been an issue with her not helping around the house. He told me to make a chore list - so I did but he refuses to make her do the chores and then when I pitch a fit he gets mad at me. She does NOTHING but lay in bed all the time. She comes home from school and goes to sleep - gets up to eat and then goes right back to her room.
