::sigh:: - what a crazy few days it has been. I removed my previous blog as it was a little too obvious with the situation if BM comes hunting for me on here. DH picked up SD and she was in a bad mood. He was chatting with her and out of the blue she asked DH who he loved more, me or her. He responded perfectly and explained that he loves us both 'equal' - that set the night off on the absolute wrong foot...

DH and I are just shy of 13 weeks pregnant - our immediate families and jobs both know - we are telling extended family this weekend - My question is that my Mom keeps asking about a list for a 'baby shower'...

DH has SD6 who lives with BM f/t - he has NOTHING from what was given to her at their shower.. My dilemma is this is the first baby on my side of the family, first grandchild... I don't know what is 'proper' when it comes to having a shower..

DH and I have been married for approx 6 months and although we dated for years before getting married and I have tried over and over to accept SD6. I can't. She is needy, whiney, manipulative, MUST get her way. I am completely over it. She is with us a few times a week and everything is daddy, daddy, daddy. I get it - shes 6, her parents got seperated when she was 2 weeks old. She has never lived with them both to know what its normal and what is abnormal. I am tired of people telling me what step moms are supposed to do.
