Another hilarious BM line.
I enjoy writing (blogging) these down so I can laugh on how pathetic it all is..
SD16 and I went to the beach yesterday with a woman who's daughter SD used to be friends with. Long story short.. woman is married to an addict (functioning) narc and her daughter is just as crazy as him and I have no idea how she goes about her days. She is fantastic and I still talk to her. Her daughter basically has no friends and she's trying to get her daughter to hang out with SD. She didn't come yesterday but the woman still came.
SD really likes said woman and has no problem talking to her. SD brought up BM and was telling her kind of what's been going on. SD brings up the whole "I would never have left your father." Line. Woman starts laughing is like what does that even mean?? Okkk....hah.
Then SD says yeah she said to me not long ago too that "I will always love your father and he will forever be my best friend."
LOLLLLLL. BM clearly doesn't understand the definition of "best friend."
SD shrugged her shoulders and we just chuckled quick.
The amount of BS that comes out of BMs mouth is really just ridiculous.. and whatever narrative she's trying play is really sad and not working for her haha.

Yeah, that is really strange.
Yeah, that is really strange. Why on earth would you say something like that to your kid. It leads them to think the door is still open for a relationship to happen. That is so wrong. It also is putting the blame of the divorce on one parent when we all know that divorce is never that simple (except in cases of infidelity and abuse).

That's why it's even funnier!! She cheated!! SD doesn't know this though... She talks to them like they are 5 still... she is delusional in her own brain and tries portraying some other scene in their heads.
This is specifically why SS19 is the way he is... BMs brain and all the BS she's feed and he's taken.
EDIT: and he took her back and she left again!! She didn't want to be a parent!! And the 2nd time was over 10 years ago!!

After years of calling DH a ducking asshat, BM started telling the skids that DH wasn't that bad. That there are no good men out there and that she just wishes she could find someone who isn't a complete idiot or asshat.
Well, guess what deary, there is a common denominator and it's YOU!
It's actually fun for me to watch her try to connect to DH at the functions we've been to together. She reminisces about him playing bball, or brings up some memory. I'm the only one listening because I love to hear stories about DH when he was younger, I'm not the least bit insecure or jealous. Also, it annoys her and that's always fun.
BM and SO do not talk. It's
BM and SO do not talk. It's been YEARS now... they only time they basically ever do is about taxes and SD only has one year left.. BM will text him for attention once and awhile and the recent "spilt" gate.
She can not have a functioning relationship with her kids without making it about herself and or SO. She constantly talks about him to skids and they "could have beens."
There was a very unhealthy relationship with all of them when I rolled up 8 years... ex: a group chat with SO, SS19 then 12 and SS18 then 11 of "time hops" of the little and as a family. Pretty sure she still sends them to the kids. That's just the tip of the iceberg...
BM is married so is just soo delusional and it is and always about SO and never skids.

When they say this to the kids, it is designed to send a message. The message from BM is "GREEN LIGHT if you ever want to meet up and f around with me because i am lonely and regrer the separation but I also dont want to get back together, I just want to f!"....They usually do this when they are going through a dry spell or when their own relationship isnt working out too well
Next step will be to start texting BD requesting for random help or sending pics of the kids or old times or pretexting that she still has some old belongings in her garage to be picked up
