One More Year

Until the last of the three ferals age out at 21(NYS CS laws suck) 

The PI route went nowhere as the PI lost his wife and hasn't worked since.   We have no idea if YSS actually moved into the Gir's new downsized house back in May.  99% sure the Gir thinks we don't know she moved. 

YSS does have a job and is not a position that is part time (manufacturing at a glass factory).

The longest year.

Do any of you have this problem with your spouses/SOs?   Chef is extremely phone unsavvy and hates every phone/carrier we have ever had.    Then he will claim to like the phone he had 3 phones ago which I recall he hated back then as well.    Most of the issues are user error and settings.

 If he didn't need the Internet for his job I would be tempted to get him a flip phone!

DIL sends us videos/photos on DGD every week.   She just turned 19 months old.  DIL is an elementary school teacher by trade and loves to do arts/crafts, alphabet games and the like with DGD.

We received a video with DIL giving her a tiny piece of graham cracker.  Then they launched into word games.  Chef immediately said "She shouldn't talk with her mouth full. "  I couldn't even tell she had the 1/2" piece of graham cracker in her mouth as she went through the various words she knows.

One of my younger coworkers has taken to playing dumb about work procedures of which I have both documented and have told him personally about/ sent him emails on before.

 My last day of work is Friday.   I again reminded him where the documentation is kept and that it is all there.

 This is very similar to skids not being able to find anything because they are too lazy to look and want somebody else to do it for them.

Who haven't set foot in your houses for weeks, months or years.  It DOES get easier over time for your SO/DH.  It's a sad state of affairs and of course, should be prosecuted for the crime it is against the children, however, the western world winks at it via the court system and various governmental agencies.

Calls out of the blue.  Because he wants something, of course.  He wants Chef to come out and fix his roof after he screwed up the flashing.  He lives about 30 min away in far end Girhippoville.

Just ugh.  We have a million of our own projects!
