SS13 - I just don't like him

He NEVER listens. Nothing sinks in. And DW totally agrees on that point. His older sister and younger brother actually like it when he's not around. My son, an Aspie, doesn't trust him. My daughter just ignores him.

He takes food without asking. He's taken things out of my dresser without permission. He pushes people's buttons and he's a liar.

Before anyone says "middle child", we actually go to EVERY baseball game of his and we try to treat him the same. I say "try" because it's impossible to trust him.

If I didn't have to be around him, I wouldn't.

Been awhile since I posted last...

And some tthings have gotten better and some things have gotten worse and some things haven't changed.

Working from home had some of the coolest bene's. I could go workout twice a day in prep for triathlons. I could start dinner. I could keep up on house stuff so there could be relaxation at some point. I could spend more time with the FSkids? Yeah - right.

FSD13 has gotten better...oddly enough and I don't know why. I'm just going to take that one on faith.

Ugh...weekend cancelled...

Lockdown was started. They're coming back home.

At least I'll get a few hours with my kids alone.

This weekend is going to absolutely and totally be a trainwreck. Those kids wanted to see their father and they can't. It's going to take an added amount of patience this weekend.

Today they leave for the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll miss FDW, but not the skids so much. I just got back from a business trip so that was a nice break as well.

One more week unti my lunch meeting with a guy who will hopefully give me the career opportunity of the decade. If I get this, I won't be able to work from home anymore but maybe that will be a blessing in disguise. That would mean then that we would have to hire a babysitter during the summers and I won't have to put up with SS11's unmitigated BS lying. The kid seems to be getting worse.

$470 dollars for baseball?

So the SS11 pathological liar and SS7, who's starting to follow in his footsteps were signed-up for baseball this morning to the tune of $470.

I told the two boys a week ago that I wasn't convinced that they even deserved it. DFW however, won't budge. She insists that they play baseball. Meanwhile, it looks like she is going to a 6 day work week and a cut in pay in a couple months.

So we "reconciled" first...

And then we talked about what she was thinking when she came home all pissed off.

She opened it up saying that it really hurt her that I took away our time spent exercising together since that constitutes "alone time" to her. We don't interact when kicking our own asses in spin class, so I don't see the connection part, but then again, I'm a guy and while I think it's cool that we do that together, I don't attach emotion to it. I'm not seeking understanding on that one, but I can accept it.

Pick up one of her sons from school because he was sick. She called and asked if I could. I was already out on the road coming back from an errand, so no real problem there.

Nice of her to break from her firm stance of ignoring me so that she can ask me to help her out.

BTW - homemade sweet -n- sour chicken is on the menu for dinner. Gonna need to go get some stir fry veggies to go with though...but dinner will be ready by 5:30 CT.

Aren't I the nice little house-bitch? Where's that "HULK SMASH!" emoticon at anyway?
