Hey all,

I came back from the weekend to a great surprise this week. Beanie boy, the millennial boy wonder - is leaving our department. He decided a desk job was too much for his ADHD, so he is off to another job where he can chase squirrels and marvel over shiny objects. Yay! No longer will I have to step over his body on the floor, while he naps or plays with legos or wails about his lot in life as he eats slop from the taco truck that will end up stinking up our trash can.

I posted quite a bit about sulky (likely bipolar) SD19. For years, she has been getting slowly worse. She avoids any new challenges, such as learning to drive, getting a job, and making new friends. After thanksgiving 2022 she stopped visiting us, which was a relief. She now lives full time at BM's, and DH calls her to say hi every evening, and check in with her. 

SD19 has been estranged from DH for 3 months. SD21 stirred the shit pot during the holidays, so SD19 took her side and rarely speaks a word to us. (SD21 wanted to come to Thanksgiving at our house, so she accused me of child abuse when she was 15. Mind you, this kid has been 200lbs and over since she was 12, and she was the one who raised her fist to me. I walked away.)

I have 3 SD's, ages 21, 19, and 17. The oldest lives with her boyfriend, in an apartment. The other two live with BM. SD19 is holding a grudge since the Thanksgiving blowout with me and SD17. Ironically, SD 17 (who was the instigator) has moved on and comes to visit every other weekend for dinner. She seems to have learned a valuable lesson from it all. SD19 though, still doesn't have her drivers license, a job, nor is she working toward this. When Dh calls her she is short with him, and will actually say she has played video games all day and that is all she does.
