OT: Triple homicide of three teens in next town south of me

Stepkids are now 22 next month and 23.  I have nothing to blog about step life but this whole scenario got me thinking about my previous step life.

https://lawandcrime.com/crime/not-only-are-the-victims-juveniles-but-the...

So my mom is a retired CVS pharmacist from this town.  Her pharmacy tech is the guardian of one of the murdered girls, Camille.  IT's very sad because the guardian had been posting on facebook her frustration in the weeks leading up to the murder.  Apparently her sister is a drug addict and is the biological mother of the murder victim and two other kids.  My mom's pharmacy tech was given custody and guardianship of her sisters three kids and inherited quite a mess.  She was posting how the kid was running wild and running away and that she didn't create the mess but here she was trying to clean it up.

So the other murder victim, Layla Silvernail, also was being raised by a family member, her grandmother.  Her mother also lost custody because she was a raging drug addict and the father lived up North somewhere.

The unidentified boy's name was Mike and Layla's boyfriend.  His mother lives in Columbus Ohio and wasn't parenting her child either.

I don't know anything about the three suspects, only the three victims but I find it very, very interesting that all three murder victims weren't being raised by their parents and were in gangs and committing robberies.  I know I definitely feel the pain of Camille's guardian/aunt.  It is very frustrating that as a step parent you didn't create the mess but are left holding the dysfunction bag when the consquences of bad parenting come a calling.

Honestly, what do you expect with drug addicts having kids left and right. They dont even value their own lives so they wouldnt value their kids lives at all. Thats why these types of children come out of the womb with all sorts of issues

This may be a bit controversial but forced sterilisation should be implemented on male and female drug addicts. Having children is a privilege and a responsibility that these ppl shouldnt have....

Not to mention when the steps kill the stepparents or legal guardians left to deal with them....of course no one ever talks about this...

It says the suspects were committing burglaries and robberies... I feel sorry for all the people they stole from. The crime in this country is out of control.

The teens/pre-teens were involved in a car theft/robbery ring and it spilled over into the murders. It's sad to think they never stood a chance but really, they didn't.

Toxic Trolls sister Toxic Crazy, had three children taken away from her. She is/was a raging alcoholic and Meth head.

Twins and a third lone child. All three were adopted out to really good families. The twins prospered, while the last one became homeless, did drugs and alcohol and had HER children taken away from her as well.

Generational curse? IDK.

Though tragic, the victims are fundimentally no different than the murder suspects.

All 6 cursed with idiot failed parents.

As challenging as SParenting can be, fortunately, not many of us are cursed with SKids as tragically parented as these 6.

A former STalker had a SS whose BM was implicated in the death of her 2-3 younger children in a house fire that apparently burned due to arson.  Law Enforcement was investigating the BM and her freshest baby daddy in the death of their young children.

It has been several years and I do not recall the outcome of the investigation.
