yep I understand it puts us stepmoms in a hard spot....they want us to love the kids and treat them like they are ours, but then they step in and tell us your not the mom they have a mom or that decision is not your choice (which hurts) so then we back off, then they say we are being distant? I guess we are just meant to cook for them clean up after them, drive them around, and keep them entertained with games and movies thats a step mothers job

When should i confront bm about issues such as calling my hubby whenever she wants, and have him run errands? Even though its for the kids, she is remarried and has full custody my hubby gets visits......so why is it when she finds out my hubby is off or does not have to work till later she calls him with something to do?? why cant she do it or have her hubby do it? I know that he is thier father, but this man married her with two kids that he knew lived with her full time! so he had to know that he would play a major part of doing things for them...

Ok yall, well here is the update from yesterday! Yep my hubby went to see counselor alone yesterday and I was excited because when we went together the counselor saw right through my husband and was basically giving him tips on how to fix our problems regarding his relationship with ex wife and kids and gave him advice on how to draw boundry lines for her.....well as most of you know the BM said hubby can see kids but not with me he has to visit them elsewhere basically anywhere where I am not!
