My peaceful, drama free two weeks is coming to an end. Just a few more days until sk comes back for the longest two weeks of my life. How can a child create such feelings in me? Honestly, she isn't too difficult or demanding. She rarely misbehaves (when she is alone with us). She just brings out these feelings of dread. She is so boring. For a seemingly intelligent kid, she asks the absolute dumbest questions. She states the obvious just to make herself seem important. Yet, just sits around like a robot looking for someone to entertain her.

SD pulled some shit last week, and it got under my skin, and SO knew it annoyed the hell out of me. He asked the silliest question "What's wrong? What did she do NOW?" and I responded "Are you ready to have this conversation?"

The past few weeks of having SD haven't been bad, but also haven't been great. Time and time again, I will hear "My Dad says" as if I don't exist in my own home, to which we have rules for all of our children. Same rules, regardless of child. So, in my disengaging efforts, I've let these little comments slide. Well, last night SO had to run for a few supplies. SD and I were home alone, and I inform SD that it's time to get her pj's on, and do her beauty routine, as it's close to her bedtime. I hear "My DAD said that I can wait for him!"

So, a notice showed up that it's the three year mark, and it's time for a review. Apparently, the deadbeat BM has submitted her request for a review, as DH just received the Financial Disclosure papers. This is a woman who moved four hours south of us, works part time for cash (she declared this in the last custody battle), and shares custody 50/50. Wouldn't his (BM's hubby) then be considered her income?
