ugh....I knew I was gonna be back here as soon as SD came for a visit....

So 1st day she was here we r all sitting around the table eating breakfast...and it feels like there is a New MOM in towns...she jumped right iinto the role of Parenting my toddler...this is what she breakfast sounded like...."Don't chew with your month closed"..."No! You can't have any juice until you finish your bite"...""That's enough of juice"...etc etc...I was like...whf!?...am I invisible here!? Why is a 14 y old Kid trying to parent MY kid!?! And even on our walk.."No u can't go there!"..."No! Can't run"....Super Micromanaging g everything!!

Hey everyone!?! How us everyone es summer going!? Haven't been here in ages ...but sd14 is coming to visit for 2 weeks....and even dh noticed that every time they talk the is something that "hurts"...and he said to me " omg! Shea turning into a hypochondriac! " "My throat hurts from screaming at school"..."My head hurts so can't watch TV" "I have this bruise from 3mths ago...it huuurts so bad" "I tho k I'm dyslexic" and on and on and OOON...its So annoying...so qhat do you ladies think?? Is this attention seeking behavior?? Low self-esteem!? Just a a phase Teena go through!?

So tonight DH told SD13 that we will be moving to a different city (just one hour by plane)....and it was a hard thing for him...few times he broke down and cried being all alxious about how he will tell her...what reaction she will have etc...so we were all on the living room and he told her....and then....Crickets...Nothing...through the whole 10mins she did smile and say "mm hmm" few times...but other than that ..pretty blank...no reaction...

How does a father let his teen daughter he is moving away!?!? Advice plz!!

Hey everyone! Haven't been here in awhile...but I know this is where I will get solid advice so thank you in advance Smile

Ok here is the thing; my husband just got an amazing job he applied for last summer....he didn't initially get it but was put on eligibility list...so few days ago they called him with a job offer! He has been wanting to find a better job anyways so this came at the perfect time!

Whew!! That was Close!! I Almost Engaged!

So I open e-mail to check if any new msges this morning, and DHs e-mail opens...there are Two msges from BM from yesterday...I have his pasword anyways so I open them to see what she wants...one is about a course SD was suppose to attend yesterday during the day and other BM asking to take SD last night (its Out weekend)...so I thought oops DH never checked his e-mail yesterday and never saw there msges...so SD missed both things...which is no big deal as its OUR weekend and BM knows Not to ask things at the Last minute.

SD is 13 and very nice, sweet, respectful etc...BUT there is this one thing that started happening few months ago...She seems to love to TOOT her own horn ...a LOT lately...Things like I asked her "how do you know that and answer is "Im Very good at computers"....or "I have really good taste buds so I can taste food better than other ppl"...uhhh ohh-kaay!..."My Hair is Always healthy"...and last but not lease "I am a STAR child so that's why I may be different than other people"....and "Star" not as in Celebrity but u know the terms...Star child....Indigo child etc...and there's a lot of ot

So this evening I overheard SD and DH talking about a Dog...she was showing him what breeds she likes etc...alright, nothin' wrong w that. But it then somehow went from that to "so can we get a dog?...to DHs answer "yeah"...wait, What!?!...Helloooooo! 'Member ME!? Me, who is home all day long and who will have to take care of this dog daily!? No one asked what I think!
