Dinner for one, please!!!

I'm so over family dinner. Step kid A won't shut up about how popular she is over her brother, Step kid B. We're all happy you're so popular, but stop trying to lord it over your brother. He probably didn't hear it any way because he cannot chew his food unless his mouth is wide open. Step kid C can only smack every single bite. DH, well he just pretends it's all good. I guess it could be worse, I mean the house could have been on fire.... I know siblings fight but it gets so freaking old. I just want to eat in peace for once.

BM is showing her true colors to the skids - - they FINALLY see the light

So BM doesn't have full custody b/c she is an idiot. She loves to bash me and DH CONSTANTLY. The kids finally see that what she says is NOT true about us and are questioning HER as to why she is doing this? Which is still our fault, by the way. But it's especially nice that SD14 sees her moms true colors. We don't and didn't ask the skids about their BM. We don't CARE. She can't keep her nose out of our business. It's just truly refreshing that they see FINALLY the nut she is and that we have been sane/balanced/truthful this whole time.

But wait, I'm not allowed to get upset

Skids have no chores except to keep room clean. Cannot manage to do that. If I mention it to DH, I've got the problem. Bought new school clothes/shoes/backpacks. I ask to wait to use them until school starts. Cannot manage to do that either and now we've ruined one of the items. I mention it, I'm some how wrong. I don't understand why I ask kids to clean their room and when I mention it I am a bitch. Why am I the bad guy when I ask skids tow wait and use new school stuff for school? I don't get it. I'm pissed, but not supposed to be pissed according to my husband.

Dead Beat Mom Can Do No Wrong

SD14 lives with us full time. Per CO, she can see her mom once a month. This NEVER happens. Dead beat, never sees her, calls her or does anything for her. Doesn't reimburse us for medical/dental as she is supposed to as well. Why does my SD14 idolize her? BM sent her one shirt for Christmas. She wore it all the time and commented on how her mom got her all these nice things and our things were some how not as good. She sent her ONE shirt. ONE. I am guilty of over spending for her at back to school and Christmas on clothes/shoes/accessories. Way over spend.

I have 3 skids. When I go to my husband to talk about undone chores, drinks spilled and not cleaned up and furniture that has been destroyed, he likes to throw in the 'well so and so have it worse'. I just want to slap the taste out of his mouth when he does that. Why aren't my problems real? I don't give a crap about 'so and so'. Just had to get it off my chest.

Advice on Birthstone Necklace

I really want a birthstone necklace with my BS's birthstone and his initial. I don't want to include my SD because she hates me. (hates me b/c I'm not her bio mom, no abuse or anything). Because she is so hateful, disrespectful and down right nasty, I just don't want her stone included. But if I don't, she will complain about that as well. Since I can't win anyway, I want to do it. Has any one else done this?
