Wrong...

BM's stepmom called me. She wanted to know the address for SS's baseball games this weekend. And she also wanted to inform me that BM called her dad and was asking what they were doing over the weekend and her dad won't lie, so she knows SS has games but they didn't tell her when or where. Eh- I don't care if she shows up. I am not going to be there and it's not like she is going to try to take him. DH will handle her.

But after talking to her for a while she gave me some info that I just have to share...

So my husband is the Director of Sales and Business Development for a software company. It is not a secret that he is the highest paid employee at the company. It's even safe to say he takes home more than the owner does- liquid anyway (because the owner leaves most of his money within the company, his wife is an RN and they do very well on her income and he is setting himself up to sell the company when he is ready to retire and make millions off of it). My husband is also very outgoing, and makes people feel very comfortable when they start working there. The company has a great moral.

Stupid BM, you are pushing him farther and farther away...

So, the kids and I went to pick DH up from his office and head to the Dodger game. ( the sad sad event that game was) I send SS in to get his dad and one of the people that works there (don't ask me WHY she would say this to him, she doesn't know him but she does know that BM is NOT around and I am his "mom") anyway, she says "Hey, I saw your mom today". SS was so confused. "You did? Where?"... HERE, she came in here. SS just kinda shook his head and went upstairs to get DH.

Is she effing kidding me????

Since DH has been ignoring BM's texts and calls, she decided to show up at his office. He was busy leading a webinar so he couldn't come down stairs. And he wouldn't have anyway. But seriously??/ What the hell does she want? She dropped off an envelope. It had a printed copy of the email her landlord sent him.

My best friend is DH's secretary. So, while he was on said webinar, I stopped by, opened the envelope and shredded it.

DH made me laugh...

BM constantly texts DH, random weird crap like "Hey, I ran in to **OLD HIGH SCHOOL FRIEND OF DH'S** today. He said to tell you hi, so I said I would. Blah Blah Blah.. or "I walked in on my own again, and start outpatient rehab on the 29th"... blah blah blah.. I don't know what "walked in on my own" is supposed to mean, but whatever. She won't go. DH never responds to her. She text him about how she has been clean for a "good while" now and she wants us and SS to join her at rehab for counseling. DH's response **CRICKETS**

BM is allowed to call SS 1 time per day, at a reasonable hour on HIS phone. If he doesn't answer, we are not required to make sure he calls her back.

She is allowed to text him within a reasonable margin, if he doesn't respond, we are not responsible for making sure he does.

OT- WTF is wrong with some of these teachers anymore??

SS has had a stomach ache for a few days. It's only the 2nd week of school so he didn't want to stay home. He tried to go. He's sitting in his 1st period class and tells the teacher he needs to go to the office. She tells him no. WTF??? So, he texts me. I call the office and the response I get is "he's not supposed to be using his phone in class".

Ummm EFF YOU! If his teacher won't let him leave class and he is sick, he is most certainly allowed to text me. And if you don't like it you can kiss my ass. He better not get in trouble. I will raise hell.

BM called me from a blocked number...

I may or may not have told her to shut up. I may or may not have told her that NO I don't understand what it is like to have my 13 year old kid not want to see me on their birthday because all of my kids WANT to see me. I may or may not have told her she is the most selfish person I have ever met. And I may have hung up on her.
