The steptalk prayers are badly needed

I don't know if this is a sign or what.

I bought a trac fone to call an attorney today; while I was on hold, waiting for him to pick up, my cell phone rang-it was my dad. So I new something happened-my parents never call....I live right next door, so I see them every few days.

My poor stroke victim Dad was on the phone-Bewitched, come over.
It's sometimes hard for him to talk, so I ran over without questions-and found my mom on the floor.

Hopefully I will get to talk to an attorney tomorrow (sorry-long & rambling)

about H's financial mess and what the impact will be on me, if I need to push or to pull.

I was supposed to call them on Tuesday, but H's pickup broke down, so I had to drive him to work-which put me behind 2 days. Oh well.

It was an interesting weekend on several levels. H was off, I, of course, was studying. So he played cards Friday. Told me SD17 was coming on Saturday, to which I simply told him; whatever. I'll be busy studying.

Seems as tho quite a few of the women on here are being pulled into a financial gutter

by either their bf's or h's. Not capitalized, because today h doesn't deserve even that much.

So I got the mail today. Included in the mail was:

Angel a tax form for a distribution he took that I knew nothing of, which will change our taxes substantially

(b) a telephone bill for a number he had 4 years ago, and

Oh, what a grand day! H called-now it's time to plan SD17's graduation party!

Of course, I felt like telling him to just find another Mule Deer Foundation fundraiser, and have that be her graduation party.

But no. Of course not. Nothing but the best for SD17. Yep, you got it. He's renting a banquet room at the Country Club. Oh yes-he's going to have the cake special ordered also.

Of course, he tells me BM is going to pay half. Yeah, right. Like she paid her 1/2 of the orthodontist bill (are you kidding-I make payments every single month for that bill-for her 1/2).

Well, so much for Valenties Day....once again, H proves to be who he is

So, Valentines Day. Hmmm. Sat. H wanted me to drive to the apartment to spend valentines (intentionally not capitalized) with him.

But first, while I was getting ready for the trip (4 hour drive), he calls. Says he wants to buy a Ford Bronco-older one-to restore. Knowing if I said what I thought of it, I just said "whatever". So, in addition to the toolbox and tools he bought himself last week, he is spending $1,000 on this old vehicle.

H just continues to amaze me-how can anyone be so irresponsible?

Just went to the tax preparers office yesterday, to get our taxes done so I can see about financial aide for school. Ummm-BEFORE we got married, I told h he needed to get his taxes taken care of. I even helped him put together all his papers for '06 & 07 (this was last April). Ok. all done, sent it. checked off.

Back at the ranch...

Thanks for all the responses about school. I've decided to finish this course, at least. Because it is a prereq for ANYTHING available (school wise) in the medical field. That's not to say I can get thru the 2 year course beginning in the fall. Am calling about financial aide today, just to check the lay of the land.

But, have you ever heard of this? Remember, H SWORE to me he had his finances in order before we married?

Then we had the fight because I would put his 7 years worth of past due taxes on HIS house on MY credit card?

Ok. Ladies & Gents....what would you do?

Another day from H hell. He's been screaming at me all day-if you read my prior blog, it started with me asking about the tax debt he owes on HIS house (he has not paid property tax on it since he got it in 2002) and my refusal to put it on MY credit card.

Since then, that's all it's been today. I made the comment that A&P class is really hard for me today (mix insomnia with being upset and then try to memorize all the muscles in the body).
