Did any of you just "walk" into step parenting or did you all have to work/ still work on it ?

Me, too. Biggrin My DH's kids are getting worse everyday. But since they are adults now, I do not have to deal with them too much.

Still working on it. It's been 9 years and I thought it would be easier when they got older and now that we've been together for longer it really gets harder. Sorry, but if I could I would of just stayed around from anyone who has kids, it's just so hard..

OP, I don't think anyone just "walks" into stepping.
Being a parent always takes work and a learning curve...bio or step. It's just the nature of the beast.
