LAst night FDH was outside for a long time, he was just supposed to be starting the grill. SD20 and the kids- crying and whining were in the kitchen with me :? so I went out side to get away for a sec and FDH was no where to be found. I was yelling his name and he came out of the garage and was like Oh I was putting some things together for a side job he's starting today, ok, didn't think twice.

Was casually talking to him just now and he mentioned he called SD15 and was talking to her last night and mentioned something she said........

Obviously it's his kid, he should talk to her and I fully support that but we were together pretty much the whole night, the only time he would've talked to her was when he was in the garage........why would he hide this and try to be sneaky about it????

It makes me feel super weird. I don't get it :? I always give him privacy if he needed it or if he's talking to his daughter why would he go isolate himself? I'm just confused. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but he's never done this before. When he mentioned he called her I said why are you being sneaky about talking to her? He immediately flipped it on me and said "oh you are going to pick a fight and be mad bc I talked to MY daughter???"

My intuition tells me something isn't right about this ?

Anyway so I went to therapy and it was the first appt so I did most of the talking but he said that SD155 is NOT going to change and he thinks she reflects the anger and resentment from her mom. He says it's common he see's this all the time and I basically need to change my approach bc how I'm dealing with it now is not working. Can't WAIT to get FDH in there. Next appt is in 10 days
