My My My NINE Missing Assignments in Algebra Since the Second Week of September
for SD16. But she was still allowed to skip school this week and get her drivers permit. Which she oddly passed with no issues. Strange for a "learning disabled-other" student.

Don't forget, this is the
Don't forget, this is the gool ol' state of NY, where no child is held back and every kid is given a million chances!
That's peanuts TT!!!! My
That's peanuts TT!!!! My SD16 is missing TWELVE assignments just in this second marking period which started on 10/21. I'm too lazy to count how many she didn't turn in during the first marking period. Of course that's why her first marking period average in Algebra was a 52.
Her English teacher emailed last week that her current average in his class is a 36. When I told DH he said "Whatever, her grades are on her, I don't care if she has to repeat 11th grade" Well sorry DH, but I DO!!!! She needs to graduate in 19 months and get the fuck out of my house!!!!!
Well in all fairness, I'm
Well in all fairness, I'm just counting Algebra. She has a bunch of missing assignments in the other classes as well. But Algebra is the cream of the crop.
Oh the 12 missing is just in
Oh the 12 missing is just in Algebra... and that is 12 out of 15. I can't be bothered to count all the additional missing from English, and Earth Science which is why she is failing both of those classes as well.
For some reason she is doing swimmingly in Global and Geometry??? (must be no homework in those classes??) Who knows, DH certainly would NEVER ask for a conference or to speak to her teachers or guidance counselors so it shall remain a mystery
Chef would find the "C" in
Chef would find the "C" in some froo froo class and then commence getting out the turd polish.
"Thinkthrice, have you seen my Turd Polish?" (TM)
The highest grade SD gets is usually in what was once called "Health" during sex education week. The only subject that holds her interest.
YSS 11 1/2 (the houseshitter) is doing well in what used to be called "Home Ec." Every other grade is a flop.
Hmmm. SD doesn't even
Hmmm. SD doesn't even provide excuses. She just skips classes on a whim and never makes up the assignment. Once in a while, the BM or StepDaddyBigBucks will do her out of class assignments for her.
Thus the grade fluctuation from out of class assignments to actual in class tests (A to F)
Isn't this just a vicious
Isn't this just a vicious cycle ~ kids don't do the work ~ get poor grades n don't get in trouble.
In a weird way ~ aren't these kids just proving that BP really could careless about their grades. If kid claims my BP could careless about my grades ~ BP cares more about his other family. And the BP takes the stance of ~ it's the kids grades not mine I can't do anything about it.
Am I wrong here ???
