Had an Actual NIGHTMARE!
I guess it was triggered by getting a safe deposit box at the bank to store my important papers and talk of CS ending.
I dreamed that Chef had a reunion with his over decade long PASed out now adult skids--all three of them--and he folded like a cheap suit. He showed up in a king cab pickup with OSS, YSS in the back and SD vying, as usual, to ride shotgun next to Dadddeeeeee.
It was like it picked up from where they left off many years ago. As usual, I was bringing up the rear (many household and business chores). SD finally got out of the front passenger seat when she saw me approaching the vehicle. He immediately started cowtowing to them while they verbally abused Chef with diatribes based on the Gir -n- clan's lies.
Now I will say that Chef does not own a pickup with an extended cab. He has a plain 2 seater pickup with a long bed. But who knows? He might run out and get one to accommodate his three industrial strength-sized giants.

How horrible for you
What an awful night you had!
But please promise me if this ever turns into a reality that you'll take Chef to the cleaners legally and get out. *help*
He has nothing
To be cleaned! He's basically my dependent. The only thing of value he has is his amazing construction skills.
The trouble with dreams is
The trouble with dreams is that they can be incredibly realistic. I had one a few months back where I was an infiltrated and found myself pursued by both the mafia and the CIA because both sides thought I was double-crossing them. I was jumping from train to train, tearing off in speed boats, checking my stock of weapons, changing my disguises ... and finally woke in a cold sweat, with my stomach in knots desperately wondering how I was going to keep my family safe ... It took me all morning to get rid of the underlying stress (it took me nearly half an hour to fully grasp that it was a dream). Scary.
Can't even have a good nights
Can't even have a good nights dream without someone's Disneyland parents making it a nightmare
PTSD from everything you went
PTSD from everything you went through. Chef doesn't have a lot of assets or $$ does he? That will help keep them away. Make sure he gets as little as possible from you in case you were to pass away first because it will end up going to his kids.
Yep
The trauma of steplife, ugh.
The trauma of steplife, ugh. Hope your dreams tonight are sweet and skid free.
Ugh. My turn...I had one
Ugh. My turn...I had one last night. Same theme.
I have these dreams from time
I have these dreams from time to time. They always follow the same plot: Little Idiot moves in and acts like a brat, DH takes her side, I pack up my things and leave.
