Strange Social Media Request

One of Chef's buddies "The Drummer" who is 62 and winding down his career while focusing back on his garage band, got a request from the HousesHitter (YSS22) to be his friend.  Both the HousesHitter and Pumpkinhead (OSS stb 29) always had aspirations to be rock stars...a pipe dream that the Girhippo advocated for.

I guess "Drummer" literally asked Chef if he should accept the HousesHitter's friend request!  Chef then told me of this odd situation.  For those who do not know, Chef has been estranged from his 3, now adult ferals for well over 15 years now.  I said "whatever he wants to do. "

Then Chef gave a dissertation about "I hope he has a REAL job--at that age I had 2-3 jobs...the proof is in the pudding."

TBH I sure hope this doesn't lead to another failed reunification attempt.  Chef likes to talk the talk but seldom walks the walk.

Could HH have sent the friend request in order to get info on you all (the whole friends of friends access)? Either that or, as you say, a first step in trying to weasel a way back in. Oddly enough, BM is the one who pulls that crap here. . . "Friends" people she doesn't know, people she has met but has no relationship with, etc.....all related to DH. It's weird and creepy but nothing ever comes if it. I hope this will be the same for you. No one needs revisited by an estranged someone especially when so many years have passed. Silly that some "friend" others out of politeness, some weird sense of obligation, or for stats.

Never pursued a relationship after his divorce and let the BM and his kids walk all over him.  He still child chases his adult kids and kisses his ex wife's posterior.  She treats him like dirt and has moved on several times over.  He dare not move on.  I'm afraid he will try to play cupid for Chef and the HousesHitter not unlike Mr. Not So Neutral.
