NYE For Old Folks! :)

Had two custom crafted cocktails by a local trendy restaurant.  First one was whiskey based, the 2nd was cognac based.  Then went to a glass of cab.  Was home by 8 p.m.  Watched a bit of TV then went to bed!!  Up at 6:00 a.m. the next day to start 1099s, Chef's taxes and four hours of business filing, cleaned house, took down Christmas decor.  Back to my regular job today!

Oh, we had neighbors over for dinner, wine, games and some bubbly.  We were done at 11:20.

Yesterday took it easy, a little cleaning, reading and movie watching.  Now a back at work figuring out problems...and waiting for others to get me info I need to finish stuff!

Tryng to get back to work but it seems that a lot of people are taking the whole week off.  I guess nothing is getting back to normal until Monday.  The holidays really suck for Type A work-a-holics.  Sad

But I just got a massive upgrade done at work today!!! I have three more projects waiting in the wings.

Happy New Year!  

Horrible to say, but DH and I partied till 1 am and fell into bed laughing our heads off :)  We have friends over until 9 but were celebrating making it thru 2019 and talking about all the good plans we have for 2020.  

Felt bad since I got to sleep in but DH was up and out back to work at 8 AM

Had some friends over, two left at 12:10 am, two left at 1:30 approx.  The last two stayed the night.  Cleaned up some of the party before hitting the sack at 4:50 am.  Kind of dragged around all day yesterday.  I am too old for this sh*t!
