Keeping the peace….

This is a great read on the topic. It is something I thought would be helpful here with all the parents who say they only are this way, or do that to keep the peace.

My first thought after reading was here...because this seems to be an often read here. It never works and only rewards the oppressor and have said and thought this for many years.

Well, this ad throws more on the evil stepmother mindset pile!

"Stepmother Plots" complete with a mean, old looking women....ugggggh!  This keep in exitstence mindset is disturbing...why, just why? I can see it now, all these poor victimized stepadult children rushing to buy (of course Daddy pays) a new Kia Smile

Do what it takes to enjoy the rest of your day!

After reading this article it caused me to think about situations we read about too often here. Different scenarios in step families that let's face it are abuse. It is allowed to continue and looked the other way by most.
