Anybody have a lot of experience with income withholding for child support?
BM has paid on and off for the last 3 years. Keeps a job for a few months then quits. Judge tells her to get with it and she gets a job for a few months again and then quits again. Anyway the first time she started paying she was getting paid 2 times a month. After we got the letter that the state had made a claim against the noncustodial parents wages, it took approx a month to get something. However a week of waiting on that was because they had to send my DH a card because he had never gotten support before, so he had to wait to get it to activate it.
This has nothing to do with step anything but I'm just needing to bitch. POST OFFICE IS RIDICULOUS!!
So I go in to fill out forms for something in the town where my kid goes to school. I live only 10 miles from this town. Hell you don't even have to make a turn. Take a right out of my driveway, drive 10 miles down the road and you drive right past the damn office. They say, "Okay, we're going to mail you this card, when you get it come in and we will finish the paperwork and you will be set to go." They send a card out to make sure you gave them the right address.
Do you ever work work work and have no money left after bills are paid?
I swear this country is getting so expensive to live in! My husband and I work so hard, pretty much live without anything unnecessary and still can't even afford our bills. I hate it that BM pretty much sits on her ass all day and gets welfare, yet doesn't pay any of her child support she is suppose to pay for SD. Must be nice to stop whatever your doing and start doing whatever the hell you want. Whatever! I mean we pay our bills but everything is so high that our bills are more then we even make together a month. We can't get a break for nothing.
