So had my SS for an overnight visit on the weekend, my parents were staying as I'm on bed rest due to issues in my pregnancy and I can't help but feel so grateful for them to be there to entertain SS while DF was doing the yard work.

Update on the medical situation

So my DF and I spoke to SS doctor (who also happens to be my OB for this pregnancy) and showed her the video of his state after seeing her for his poked eye. She was quite worried about him, said that BM should have taken him to the hospital (we have no after hours GP in our town) and told us she will be speaking to BM at her appointment today.

Need advice!!

As my previous posts have stated I do not hate my SS BM but she is making it really hard to even be civil to her!! ( not that I would ever do anything to hurt my partners relationship with his son).

I guess these issues have been heading towards boiling point for awhile although my partner and I have been trying very hard not to let it come to that.

Time for some background :)

Well my DF and I have been together for a year now we are engaged and expecting our first (his fourth), we are completely and utterly in love, we have both been through some terrible relationships with the same type of people (emotionally abusive and very controlling).

I've only just found this site so I will tell you a little about my situation and why I need to vent!

I'm a step mother to three adorable children, the two oldest SD7 and SS5 live about 12 hours from us so visitation is just on the holidays and their BM is very good about extra time etc with them.
